What You Will Do:
The Student Life Coordinator provides comprehensive support for P.A.C.E. (Path to Academics, Community, and Employment) at NLU. This role is responsible for arranging and managing logistics for Student Life, including student activities, leave and guest requests, special events, ongoing facility's needs, program supplies, and coordinating PACE move-in and move-out. The Coordinator creates and distributes weekly marketing emails to students and families highlighting upcoming activities and events and serves as a direct point of contact for communication from parents, the University Center, prospective student families, and other NLU departments. The Student Life Coordinator also assists with summer programming, overseeing the Summer Experience Program, and planning for fall, winter, and spring term PACE programming. During the 30-week academic session, the Student Life Coordinator might need to be available on weekends to provide activity support and respond to RLA communication regarding planned events, logistics, or other program-related needs. This is a full-time, 12-month position based between the Chicago Campus and University Center Chicago, with some evening and Saturday hours required.
Essential Responsibilities
Arrange all community Friday evening dinners and Saturday activities and Saturday Dinners for PACE students. Manage logistics and communicate logistics and details to the Assistant Director for approval. Once approved Student Life coordinator will communicate the logistics to the Lead RLA for execution. Student Life Coordinator is responsible for sending out Friday Dinner Reminders via Email and Saturday Activity Reminder emails to students and staff weekly. Student Life coordinator will be the direct contact for Senior RLA, RLA's, students and families who have any questions regarding PACE events/ weekend activities. Create and distribute weekly marketing emails to students and families highlighting upcoming activities and events.
Maintain and update the PACE campus leave and guest requests. Provide up-to-date record of student leave and guests on a timely basis to the Lead RLA for monitoring by the RLA team. Student Life coordinator is the direct point of contact for campus leave requests submitted by students/ families and will update request changes made in real time.
Receive all incoming Student Life PACE communication via email and phone and direct to the appropriate PACE staff member. Direct PACE parent/guardian communications to appropriate team lead.
Coordinate with the undergraduate college operations team to order and track all PACE supplies. Receive deliveries and provide to appropriate PACE staff member. Maintain inventory of supplies for the Student Life Team and reorder with approval from PACE Student Life Manager. Maintain inventory of supplies and reorder with approval from PACE Program Operations Manager for supplies needed for PACE events. Provide admin support for PACE Team in the areas of ops.
Responsible for planning and executing major events, including the Creative SLAM fundraising event and Annual Spring Formal. Other events include Parents' Weekend, Graduation Banquet, lunch-and-learns, and other students' events. Coordinate the Annual Spring Formal, Graduation Banquet, quarterly Service-Learning Projects, and additional social events throughout the year. Duties include booking venues, ordering supplies, sending invitations, managing RSVPs, and overseeing all related logistics. Serves as the primary point of contact for students and families regarding event-related inquiries.
Be available on select weekends during the 30-week academic session to support planned student activities and respond to RLA communication regarding event logistics or program needs. Provide backup support during major Student Life or campus events to ensure smooth execution.
Manage family/student schedules for student breaks, move-in/move-out to/from the University Center. Student Life Coordinator will be the direct point of contact from the University Center for any updates regarding students/ families/ or important information in partnership with University Center. Student Life Coordinator will communicate with Residential Life Manager immediately in the event of a crisis or emergency situation for on-call support.
Communicate PACE needs to NLU Facilities team as needed/ University Center needs for dorm needs.
Monitor and update spreadsheets for orders placed and activities planned for Student Life to keep track of the spending and stay within program budget with Assistant Director overseeing the approval of purchases made. Other administrative tasks as needed.
The Student Life Coordinator assists with summer programming, overseeing the Summer Experience Program, and planning for fall, winter, and spring term PACE programming.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services/related field OR equivalent mix of experience and education.
One (1+) year experience in project coordinating recreational activities and special events.
One (1+) year proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Canva, Google Docs, Smartsheet, Social Media.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Work Environment/Physical Demands/Travel Requirements:
Work Location: This position is based between the Chicago Campus and University Center Chicago, with some evening and Saturday hours required. The PACE program is a non-traditional work environment. The Founding Program Director will assume responsibility for the entirety of the developing Occupational Therapy (OT) program pathways. Qualifications
Education and Certification:
Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field awarded by an accredited institution required
Degree awarded in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE accredited program required
Certification as an Occupational Therapist from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, with current license or eligibility to be licensed in Illinois required
Experience:
Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in the field of Occupational Therapy, including:
Clinical practice experience as an occupational therapist;
Administrative experience including, but not limited to, program planning and implementation, personnel management, evaluation, and budgeting;
Relevant teaching and/or research scholarship;
Understanding the role of the occupational therapy assistant; and
Four (4) years of experience as a faculty member with teaching responsibilities at the postsecondary level.
Management experience in a college, university, or academic post-secondary institution strongly preferred

Summary
This position will report directly to the Dean of the School of Environmental Sustainability and is responsible for the direct support of the Dean in day-to-day operations, as well as divisional support related to School administration, operations, and program support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Executive Assistant to the Dean (35%)
1. Oversee management of Dean's Office, including: calendar management; special projects; and SES faculty and staff meetings and retreats coordination.

What You'll Do:
1) Performs Patrol Activity and Incident response.
Makes frequent patrols, by foot and vehicle (LPC), of designated campus areas to watch for unusual or suspicious activities and hazardous situations, reporting issues to dispatcher and/or supervisor. Takes positive action on complaints/calls for assistance received from faculty, staff, students, visitors and others, providing excellent customer service. (LPC) Responds to a variety of incidents including, but not limited to, burglaries, thefts, assaults, sexual assaults, robberies, accidents, medical emergencies, fire alarms, etc. Detains offenders until Chicago Police is on scene. May be required to testify in court. If incidents occur, writes incident accident/illness reports and determines transport needs of patient for treatment. Notifies the Chicago Fire Dept for assistance if condition is serious or life-threatening and assists the Chicago Police Department and Chicago Fire Department on all incidents on campus.
2) Monitors lobby entrance (Loop) and controls access to unauthorized areas (both LPC and Loop). Observes/screens all visitors/persons entering the premises, monitoring for abnormal activity and questioning suspicious persons. Checks, locks and opens University buildings, classrooms and offices. Checks office areas for suspicious activities.
3) Special Detail/Event Duty.
Provides a variety of services to outside groups who rent space at various times throughout the year (Loop). Assists external law enforcement agencies during dignitary visits; monitors student events that serve alcohol. Handles a variety of issues related to events on campus including, athletic events, festivals, concerts, theatre performance, and move-in weekends (LPC).
4) Provide Escort Services. (LPC)
Provides hospital transports for sick and injured individuals or as requested by University Counseling Services. Provides a daily escort service between the hours of 6 pm and 6 am for the safety of faculty, staff, students and guests on campus.
5) Property Management. (Loop)
Responds to inquiries and enforces university policies on property removal. Assists with routing of deliveries at loading dock.
6) Test and Monitor Equipment and Emergency Radio transmissions.
Tests emergency notification system on a weekly basis. Performs bi-monthly tests of campus emergency call boxes (LPC), and duress alarms.

What You Will Do:
National Louis University is seeking applicants interested in joining our team as a Student Finance Representative. This position is responsible for reviewing student files, evaluating financial aid applications, awarding and advising students on their eligibility for Title IV funding. Positions assigned to this classification will have a high technical knowledge of financial aid programs and procedures to independently assist students and peers over the phone and via electronic correspondence. The position requires analytical skills and the ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency. Maintain knowledge of Federal Student Aid and internal University awarding, disbursing, and refund regulations. Perform verification of student financial aid eligibility as needed Maintain and coordinates awarding and student aging reports and actively outreach student to resolve issue.
Accurately advise students on BBAY and SAY loan eligibility. Review, analyze, and provide solutions to escalated student issues and communicate proposed solutions back to the appropriate party. Identify areas of opportunities to management and work on developing potential solutions.
Ensure ethical and accurate documentation and record keeping which meets all company and regulatory agency standards. Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers via phone and email. Participate as an active team member of the Student Finance Office and ensure active communication and cohesive working relationships with all other departments.
May manage student workers as appropriate.
Qualifications

Adjuncts are hired on a course basis each term. Salary Range for Adjuncts teaching in this academic area is $500.00 - $3,750.00 per course. TheTheatre and Performance Studies (TAPS) program Production Manager isresponsible for the performance of a variety of managerial, supervisory, organizational, and assisted support duties as they relate to the three TAPS productions of each academic year. The Production Manager works closely with the Division Chair of the Division of Arts and Letters (DAL), the TAPSArtistic Director, the TAPSprogram faculty, and the Center of Performing Arts (CPA) technical, marketing, and box office staff.
Essential Responsibilities
Talent and Materials Procurement(25%)
* Coordinate selection of design, directing, consulting, and stage management staff as required per production.
* Upon identification, work with Procurement Department in contracting all directing, design, and stage management or consulting personnel.
* In collaboration with DALsupport staff, provide all information needed by GSUdepartments to provide materials, purchase orders, reimbursements, etc. pertaining to each TAPSproduction.
Support and Supervision of Personnel Hired/Registered for Each Production(25%)
* Provide support to designers and supervision to stage management staff.
o Supervise Stage Management team throughout the rehearsal and production period.
o Guide and mentor practicum student stage management staff as they work with the Stage Managers on the TAPSproductions.
o Collect all cast biographies for each TAPSproduction from the Stage Management team by established deadline.
o Collect all cast requests for complementary tickets by the established deadline.
o In collaboration with DALsupport staff, provide all information needed by outside designers, directors, stage management staff, and consultants regarding direct deposit and other internal processing paperwork.
* Serve as primary liaison between the Director/Guest Director, Designers, and TAPS/CPAstaff.
* Assign interested students (practicum and volunteer) to running crew positions and, in collaboration with the Stage Manager, monitor their progress.
* Collect all creative team biographies for each TAPSproduction by the established deadline.
* Collect all creative team requests for complementary tickets for each TAPSproduction by the established deadline.
Organization and Hand-Off of Technical/Production Rehearsal Period(20%)
* Attend and facilitate hand-off of technical rehearsals and performances to Stage Management staff for each TAPSproduction.
* Provide initial supervision of student participants of the running crew (both registered and volunteer) as needed in support of designers and stage management staff for each TAPSproduction.
Coordination of Rehearsal and Performance Space, Auditions, and Production Calendar(10%)
* In collaboration with the Director/Guest Director draft, publish, and edit, as necessary, the production calendar updating as needed to be applicable in real time to be shared with the production staff.
* Plan, facilitate, and document two production meetings for each production.
o Provide follow-up items to all attending production meetings with reminders for completion.
o In collaboration with the Director/Guest Director and GSU/CPAscheduling staff, schedule space for all auditions, rehearsals, and special events.
Provide Information and Collaboration to All External Programs as Needed(10%)
* Collaborate with CPAstaff in the facilitation of marketing requests for each TAPSproduction.
o Collaborate with CPAstaff to provide a draft program or feedback on later programs by the established deadlines.
o Provide cast biographies collected by the Stage Management team and all creative team biographies.
o In collaboration with the CPAPR/Marketing staff, schedule production photos
o Schedule archival recordings for each TAPSproduction with the media department. Often a higher-level student will be recommended. Provide supervision for that videographer as needed.
o Set and adhere to deadlines for complementary ticket requests from the cast and creative team which will then be provided to the CPAstaff.
* Provide appropriate instructional staff, security,CPAstaff, and others as needed information regarding the rehearsal schedule and the students who will be involved.
* Organize and supervise, in collaboration with CPATechnical Director, the strikes of all TAPSproductions.
* Serve as point-person for any questions about the show, space, and logistics.

* In collaboration with the Chair of the DAL, draft production budgets based on information provided by TAPS/CPAstaff.
* Provide guidance to design/consulting/stage management staff regarding staying within the budget identified to them upon hire and coordinating information exchange between them and the assisting DALsupport staff member.
* With the assistance of DALsupport staff, track expenditures in order to assure adherence to the established budget.
Secure Rights and Scripts from Publisher(5%)
* Secure rights for TAPSproductions for production rights (when applicable)
* Purchase or reproduce scripts (as applicable) prior to first rehearsal.
Supervisory Responsibility
Supervision of Stage Management staff. Coordination of designers, consultants, and guest directors.
Work Environment
The work takes place at various places on campus, including primarily spaces on and off stage in the Center for Performing Arts

Adjunct Faculty are paid by course or assignment each term. These rates vary by college and number of credit hours for the course/assignment. While the specific amount will be indicated in an electronic contract that is issued to the Adjunct Faculty member when the course is assigned, an overview of standard rate structure is available below:
