What We're Looking For Previous cooking experience, preferably in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality settings. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Attention to detail and a passion for preparing high-quality meals. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Creativity, reliability, and a positive attitude. Ability to speak and read English. What You'll Do Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus, recipes, and dietary requirements. Ensure food is presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperature. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work area at all times. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies and procedures. Monitor food inventory and assist with receiving and storing deliveries. Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate special diets and resident requests. Assist in cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and residents to ensure a positive dining experience.
