Experience in the operation, assembly, testing, and design and of oilfield service equipment is an asset. Must have at least two years' experience or demonstrate equivalent knowledge in hydraulic assembly, troubleshooting, and repair; mechanics; pump and/or valve assembly, disassembly, or repair; electrical control systems operation and diagnosis; and /or oilfield experience in maintenance and repair of NOV CT/N2 or related systems. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schematics, and codes. Ability to work with a diverse group of employees, departments, and customers. Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures and programs; including but not limited to the process map, support processes, health, safety and environmental requirements. Work closely with management and employees to positively influence the culture, improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Oversee all employee relations cases, ensuring quality and compliance assurance, and as well as mitigation of risks. Use professional insight to identify people related opportunities, priorities, and potential risks with managers. Interpret company guidelines for supervisors and employees as required. Develop, analyze and provide recommendations to management regarding fair and equitable salaries, done through participation and review of regular external and internal equity analysis. Lead HR focused projects. Take on other HR centric duties as assigned. Travel requirement: 10% - 25% (may change with business needs). Travel would be in-country, likely to the Houston area. Using considerable judgment to ensure quality, correct parts, and/or proper procedures are used Perform electrical and electronics installation, repair and troubleshooting through use of drawings, schematics and interpretation and knowledge of applicable codes and safety regulations Basic knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics, including knowledge of pumps, valves and hosing systems as may apply to electro-mechanical or electro-hydraulic assemblies is an asset Read equipment assembly specifications, such as charts, schematics, blueprints, and typed instructions and details Brings technical problems encountered to the Lead/Crew Chief's attention for resolution throughout the project Participate in regular shop/yard organization and cleanliness exercises. May be required to assist with training new employees in assembly operations as required Complete and maintain various records and documentation Demonstrate the capability to work independently or in a team on complex and multiple projects requiring judgment to resolve problems Familiarize yourself with operation controls such as safe working practices and job hazard analysis as appropriate to specific work tasks Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures and programs; including but not limited to the process map, support processes, health, safety and environmental requirements Responsible to supply your own tools; a minimum recommendation list is available.
