Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Execution Implement strategic scheduling, planning, and project management processes to support internal and external customer order requirements across FGS operations. Ensure planning and scheduling activities align with business goals and production targets. Leverage systems and tools integrated with the NOV Omega (Oracle Cloud ERP) platform to improve scheduling and shop utilization across facilities with common product offerings. Implement standardized project management tools and processes across multiple FGS locations. Support inventory planning using data analytics and Omega system functionalities. Scheduling & Resource Allocation Collaborate to develop training materials for production scheduling across multiple manufacturing sites. Partner with operations to ensure optimal allocation of labor, materials, and equipment to meet production goals. Monitor and adjust production schedules based on demand changes or operational challenges. Project Management Manage complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines. Execute project plans, define milestones, and coordinate project teams. Track progress, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies for successful project outcomes. Process Improvement Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in scheduling, planning, and project management practices. Introduce best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with the Planning Manager on improvement initiatives and integration of new methodologies and technologies. Participate in One Fiber Glass Systems standardization efforts, including data governance and optimization across facilities. Team Leadership Train, support, and develop planning, scheduling, and project management team members across multiple manufacturing locations. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, incorporating insights from NOV Pulse results. Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback; support recruitment, evaluations, and promotions. Deliver training in new tasks, safety procedures, and company policies. Communicate effectively with production teams and external partners. Prepare and present regular performance reports. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of scheduling, planning, or project management experience in a manufacturing environment. PMP or CSCP certification is a plus. Working knowledge of Oracle ERP systems. Strong communication, problem-solving, and motivational skills. Familiarity with blueprints, machining, fabrication, or raw materials is beneficial. Experience in composite manufacturing or related industries is an asset. Ability to collaborate with diverse teams across multiple departments. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Under the direction of a supervisor and/or experienced machinist, responsible for quality parts produced on CNC machines such as, but not limited, to lathes and milling machines in a timely, safe and efficient manner. * Operate, perform set-up changes and first article inspections on production runs utilizing CNC Machines. * Load parts utilizing overhead lifting equipment, proving tapes, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements. * Identify problems before production runs, then start and observe machine operation to detect any other malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions, and adjust machine controls or control media as required. * Read blueprints, precision measuring instruments and job orders to determine dimensions, tolerance and tooling requirements. * Maintain knowledge of dimensions and tolerances for tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cut and cutting tools to be used. * Prove out new programs and make simple edits of NC programs on at least one or more numerically controlled machines. * Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment. * Perform other work related tasks as assigned. * Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
