NRSC company history timeline

1916

The Senate committee was organized in 1916 following the ratification of the Seventeenth Amendment, which provided for the direct election of senators.

1920

"Intermediate Day Scholar' Union" of Muslim University Intermediate College came into existence in 1920.

1932

In 1932, the Intermediate College was abolished in accordance with the recommendation of the ?Rahmatullah Committee?. Hence the Intermediate Day Scholars? Union of Intermediate College was also dissolved.

1952

Overwhelmingly reelected in 1952, Knowland became chairman of the Republican Party’s policy committee the following year, and he served as party leader in the Senate following the death of Robert A. Taft.

1956

An exclusive NRSC Provost Office came into existence at the end of 1956 under the Proctorship of Prof.

Knowland announced that he would run for the Republican presidential nomination in 1956 if President Dwight D. Eisenhower retired in that election year.

1958

Satish Chandra was thus the first provost of NRSC and remained both procter and provost till 1958.

1974

Knowland died in 1974 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

2012

2014

In the 2014 cycle, Matt was Communications Director for then-Fla.

In 2014, she was the State Finance Chair for Governor Rick Scott’s Gubernatorial re-election campaign.

2016

In 2016, Sandler was a strategist for then-Michigan GOP Chair Ronna McDaniel and helped her orchestrate the first win for a Republican presidential candidate in Michigan in 28 years.

Prior to that, Daria was on Jeb Bush’s 2016 presidential campaign.

2017

Ryan Dollar is the General Counsel of the NRSC, advising Senators, candidates, and the committee on federal and state election laws, intellectual property, Senate Ethics Rules, political law litigation, and corporate compliance since he began with the NRSC in 2017.

2018

In 2018, she was Rick Scott’s Florida Finance Chair for his Senate campaign.Darlene is a Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston and a member of the Harvard Business School Board of Dean’s Advisors and the Harvard Stem Cell Institute.

2019

Darlene completed a 14-year term on the Fordham Board of Directors in 2019.
