Care Center - Cincinnati is seeking veterinarians passionate about working in emergency medicine for our 6-month training and mentorship program. The Ethos ER Immerse Training Program The ER Immerse Program will prepare veterinarians for a sustainable and satisfying career in emergency medicine. Built from the ground up to be different than traditional rotating internship programs, the ERi program has been developed around a curriculum of core competencies essential for an emergency veterinarian. In addition to providing training around clinical knowledge and skills, the program also includes a focus on client and team member communication, professional skills, and life/work integration. The ER Immerse program utilizes a hybrid training approach incorporating simulation-based didactic components into authentic training experiences with live patients. The curriculum is designed using an evidence-based strategy identifying competencies and skills deemed essential for a successful career as an emergency clinician. About Care Center Cincinnati & Dayton Located in the heart of southwest Ohio, Care Center Cincinnati is a bustling, multi-specialty and emergency hospital known for delivering outstanding patient care and fostering a culture of collaboration. Care Center Dayton is a specialty and emergency hospital located in Ohio's Miami Valley, just an hour north of Cincinnati and west of Columbus. Program Duration/Commitment * 6-month training program beginning June 2026 * 18-month commitment as an ER clinician following training Location * Care Center - Cincinnati: 6995 E Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45249 and Care Center-Dayton 6421 Clyo Road, Centerville, OH 45459 Program Highlights * 5-day work week consisting of 4 clinical days, 1 didactic day, and 2 days off each week * Rotate with other specialty services during the training program: Emergency, , Critical Care, Cardiology, Integrative Medicine, Oncology, Medical Oncology, Surgery, and Radiology * Surgical training * Always work with a dedicated mentor on shifts * Excellent post-training schedule: 3-day work week, no more than 3 shifts in a row, always 2 days off between working. * Competency-based curriculum that includes asynchronous learning on Vetbloom and weekly live virtual didactic rounds * Regular live continuing education events led by specialists and experienced emergency doctors * ER Mentee Salary: $100,000.00 * Work authorization in the United States is a requirement for the position. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the company, but candidates eligible for TN status may be considered.
