The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech performs advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, peripheral vascular procedures, and structural heart procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Cardiac Cath Lab Technicians are responsible for scrubbing, monitoring, and assisting providers as requested.

Facility: Dayton Children's - Main Campus Department: Clinical Nutrition Lab Schedule: Full time Hours: 40 Job Details: The Clinical Nutrition Laboratory Technician is responsible for the preparation, distribution, inventory and management of enteral nutrition (human milk, formulas, and additives). Critical functions include: * Use of the bar code scanning software to manage receipt, storage, preparation, labeling, and delivery of human milk. * Keep work surfaces and equipment clean before, during, and after each feeding preparation of feeding. * Calculate and write recipes for each feeding, utilizing resources in the nutrition lab or consulting the dietitian as needed. * Prepare feedings, following all safe practices and according to precise calculations in each recipe * Store prepared feedings in appropriate temperature-controlled environments before, during, and at delivery. * Take responsibility for discarding expired feedings located in the patient care areas according to protocol. * Communicate with appropriate personnel (nursing, parent, dietitian, and/or medical provider) any questions or concerns about feedings or recipes. * Collect and ship donated human milk. * Think critically while adhering to policies and processes. * Communicate with a focus on a positive outcome, particularly during problem solving. * Maintain customer service and remain sensitive to the stress parents experience during their child's hospitalization.
