Purpose of Your Job Position
The primary purpose of your job position is to direct the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities and assisted living facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements
A degree in Public Health Administration or Business Administration, or a health related degree is preferred but not required.
Experience
• Must have, as a minimum, one (1) year experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long-term care facility.

Job Summary

Qualifications
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.

Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year. A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually based on state requirements. Maintains all department specific required certifications. When applicable, may need a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Iowa: Require Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing. CNA certification must be maintained with the State Board of Nursing. Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course once CNA certification is obtained.

Job Summary
The MDS Nurse uses independent judgment in the planning, organizing, directing, and evaluation of activities of the professional and supportive nursing staff engaged in resident plan of care. Evaluates care provided to each resident and keeps care plans current. Is the direct lead in regards to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process. The RN demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting. The RN cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. The RN is responsible for the coordination of care, resident assessment, resident education and various other nursing interventions.
The RN may serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel that are within the job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and the competence level of the delegate. As charge, the RN provides adequate assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns.
The RN functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice and licensure. The Professional Nursing Practice recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as published by the American Nurses Association as the foundation of nursing care delivery and professional conduct.
Qualifications
Graduate from a National League of Nursing (NLN) or American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) accredited nursing program is preferred. Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
Minimum of one-year experience working as licensed nurse with the senior population preferred. Specific services/positions may have additional education, training or experience requirements. Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified (RAC-CT), management or supervisory experience preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Job Type: Full-Time Shift: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am shifts
We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team in Rosebud, SD. This provider will deliver patient-centered care across a broad range of acute and chronic conditions, performing assessments, diagnoses, and treatments in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Education and Experience:
Current, unrestricted NP or PA license in the state of practice.
Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
BLS and ACLS certification required.
Minimum 3 years of emergency room (ER) experience required.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments including histories, physical exams, and diagnostics.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians as needed.
Provide care in a 20-bed hospital with 36 hours of MD coverage and 24 hours of APP coverage daily.
Perform procedures such as wound care, suturing, and joint injections.
Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment, medications, and preventive health.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members for coordinated care.
Adapt duties as required based on operational needs.

Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork capabilities.
