As a standing ForkliftOperator, you are an essential team member responsible for operating power equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, load, unload, pick, and count merchandise while holding accountability for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.

Operating power equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, load, unload, pick, and count merchandise.
Work on a standing forkliftoperator and be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.
Unloading/loading trucks using dock stocker & pallet jacks.
Shipping & receiving ingredients and finished goods.
Stocking racks, push back racks and shuttle racks up to 25 feet high using dock stockers and reach trucks.

Work Schedules
Weather, snow conditions and the number of guests play a large role in the work scheduling of Bear Valley employees.
When conditions are normal, you may be expected to work 40 up to 48 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. During busy periods - especially the holiday periods in December and the months of January and February - you may be expected to work six (6) days a week.
You must arrange for transportation to work so that you arrive at your designated workstation at the scheduled time. Keep in mind that you will often be required to drive on hilly, snowpacked, and icy road.
Working Conditions
At any time during the ski season, Bear Valley employees are often required to perform their tasks in high winds, heavy snowfalls, low visibility, rain, and extremely cold or warm temperatures.
Uniforms
A professional appearance at Bear Valley is required. Please wear your name tag and uniform at all times during your scheduled shift. We will provide most of the uniform for you to do your job. This uniform is for work hours ONLY, no exceptions.
You will be required to provide some items as part of your job.

About the Role:
We are looking for a person who's not afraid of rolling up their sleeves as a Warehouse Associate at MDB Co. This position is a full-time direct-hire position with full benefits 100% paid for by the company. The perfect person for the role should have a positive attitude, be eager to learn, be reliable, and like being part of a team. You will operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload product and materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, loading docks onto railroad cars, trucks, or warehouse racks. This role also involves manual labor, as you will load and unload containers, pick ship, pack, assemble, inspect, and repair products. You will also enter product information into our ERP system via scan guns and computers. You may work in receiving, shipping, returns and replacement parts, inspection, or production, and will partner with other team members in lifting, pulling, or pushing heavy items.
What you'll be doing (including but not limited to):
Load & unload containers using a stand up forklift (reach truck) or manually
Sort product if necessary and ensure that the product is unloaded correctly
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Check loads are secure, stacking empty pallets
Perform daily forklift equipment inspection for safety and proper preventive maintenance
Pick, pack, and ship product
Keep records on the use or damage of stock or stock-handling equipment.

**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Continuously monitor the safety of passengers while providing instruction and customer service in the safe loading and unloading of lifts; manage the speed of lift as needed
+ Operate lift to ensure that optimal chair capacity is achieved as determined by Lift Experience guidelines and performance reporting
+ Proactively notify maintenance/dispatch of repair or maintenance needs
+ Work closely with the Lift Maintenance department to learn the proper operation of lift equipment
+ Implement emergency procedures as required, including contacting Patrol
+ Ensure lift is ready for operations prior to set up of maze; set up/disassemble lift maze daily according to maze standards
+ Follow and perform all company and departmental policies and procedures
+ Maintain a safe work area and cleanliness of lift shacks; remove trash when necessary

+ Must be physically capable of assisting guests while loading lifts; may lift up to 40 lbs
+ Must be able to work outdoors in all types of inclement weather, standing and moving for entire shift on potentially slippery or uneven surfaces.
+ Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
+ Must be able to handle high guest volumes in a professional manner
+ Must be willing to perform alternate functions from time to time, both within and outside of the assigned area, particularly during peak periods such as holiday weekends
The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $21.7/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
