Entertainment Technicians at the park are responsible for the operation and basic installation/maintenance of all show productions sound, video, special effects, and lighting equipment. Technicians will provide support for all shows, educational presentations, themed events, and seasonal events such as Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park. Installation of equipment may require working at height including the use of ladders, climbing scaffolding, and use of a man-lift. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Monitor and perform carpentry maintenance tasks including routine sheet rock/drywall installation and/or repair, window replacement, cabinet and countertop replacement, painting and texturing, and door and hardware installation, and painting interior and exterior finishes, as appropriate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for general cleaning of the facilities which includes sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, washing windows, cleaning and stocking restrooms, emptying trash, etc. Assist with the completion of all minor repairs and facility rehabilitation, including interior and exterior facility grounds, buildings and equipment. Implement a schedule of regular evaluation and preventative maintenance/repair tasks of the facilities ensuring the safety of the buildings from fire, flood, and other hazards. Maintain inventory of supplies and tools. Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing of offices, restrooms, dining areas, dorms and common areas. Assist with set-up and clean-up of major events and with the pick-up, loading, and unloading of supplies and donations. Communicate regularly with all members of the team, to ensure effective two- way communication concerning maintenance issues. Implement policies and procedures that affect the use of supplies, equipment, and maintenance. Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent One to three years' experience as a Facilities Maintenance worker in a commercial building, or an equivalent combination of education andexperience. The primary role of the Maintenance Technician is to provide competent & effective Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance support to the Plant and Facility operations in a safe manner. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, adjusting and repairing of plant machinery to meet industry standards while ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies, including but not limited to USDA, OSHA, FDA, EPA and Local Government. The position will require a flexible schedule focusing on preventive maintenance and timely repairs. Installed, and/or troubleshoot and repair Manufacturing equipment such as: assembly, conveyors, forming, mixing (Oven operations is a plus). Must be able to maintain equipment in accordance with diagrams and manufactures specifications while following preventative maintenance work orders and scheduled PM'S. Generate work orders, and parts request. Be able to use some machine shop, and other related machines as required to repair parts or fabricate modifications. Complete work orders and PMs and the documentation for that work Ability to use mechanical and pneumatic processes: including cylinders and glue machines, date coders. Operate equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, and other appropriate equipment Maintain current GMP, Safety, Food Safety, & technical knowledge by actively participating in training. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following list that follows is representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required: 2+ years of experience working in the food manufacturing industry. 4 years of experience working as an experienced level maintenance mechanic. PLC experience is a plus Able to work rotation 12-hour shift including weekends and some overtime and occasionally. Ability to follow manufacturing specifications and schematics. Knowledge of food grade aluminum and stainless-steel welding techniques. Complete knowledge of fabrication techniques. Electrical knowledge and packing machinery experience a plus. Possess a full complement of the necessary hand and power tools to support an industrial manufacturing plant. Ability to multitask, prioritize items and be self-motivated. Complete knowledge of all tools required for industrial maintenance, including those used to broach, mill, and lathe. Must be able to communicate and understand safety issues, including reading the information on safety equipment and relaying relevant information to coworkers. Have a basic knowledge of control power and main power. Be able to identify and understand all different lubricants and their use for a chain lube to a high-performance synthetic lube. Knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Acetylene). Understand pneumatic and water systems. Must be able to use soldering techniques Must be able to read electrical schematics. Must be able to identify appropriate motor frame, power load, and amp draw. Must have their own set of professional electrical tools, including voltmeter and amp meter. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. Complete working knowledge of the manufacturing process, typically resulting from a minimum of five years' experience in related jobs. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret quality documents, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
