Be a member of a team of regulatory reporting professionals responsible for producing daily, weekly, and month end reporting for SEC, CFTC, and other regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities
Complete or review reports for daily SEC 15c3-1 capital computations, FRB 2004 reports, TIC reporting, daily CFTC SEG calculations, weekly/monthly SEC 15c3-3 reserve formula computations and the preparation and filing of the monthly FOCUS report
Accurately prepare computations/reports/filings
Aid in researching and providing explanations on report variances
Implement new systems and solutions to improve the regulatory process
Maintain a continued understanding of the applicable rules and regulations
Produce timely, high quality capital reporting numbers with appropriate controls and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
Document policies and procedures for the regulatory reporting group
Qualifications/Skills
BA/BA in numerate, finance or business discipline
Candidate must have minimum of 6+ years of broker dealer financial regulation or accounting firm experience auditing a US regulated broker dealer
Must have experience working with SEC rule 15c3-1 and 15c3-3

The expected base annual salary range for this position is $140,000 - $170,000 at the start of employment. This is not a guarantee of compensation. The exact compensation is determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on skills, experience, training licensure, certifications and location. Requirements:
Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Applications, Applied Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field followed by 5 years of progressive experience in the position offered, or as a Software Engineer, Tech Lead or a related role. Full term of required experience must include: Utilizing Java programming language to build software solutions; Using Agile methodologies and the software development process; Driving software development lifecycles; Utilizing Java 8 features including Lambda Expression, Functional Interface and Streams; Performing Java coding, debugging, testing and releasing code in a production environment; Developing Java multithreading, Spring Boot and Microservice architectures; Using SVN or Git version control tools; Designing and developing real time, high throughput and low latency distributed systems; and Utilizing DBMS, Distributed Computing, Junit, Maven and Cucumber for application development and testing application functionality. The Senior/Principal Oceanographic Survey Consultant will be a key contributor to HR Wallingford projects, providing technical expertise and project management for a range of clients across the UK and internationally. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality consultancy advice relating to survey, data, analysis and reporting, as well as overseeing survey contractors and providing technical support to clients and other teams within HR Wallingford. In addition, you will contribute to R&D activities and marketing materials, also attending conferences/trade events both in the UK and internationally to share knowledge and expertise.
Key qualifications and skills
Degree in a relevant field (e.g. oceanography, marine science or equivalent)
5+ years of commercial metocean/oceanography (ADCP, VM-ADCP, CTD, met, waves) experience
Monitoring water quality, in particular turbidity / suspended sediment concentration monitoring
Familiarity with water and sediment sample analysis (for key parameters such as PSD and suspended sediment concentration)
Experience of programming for the processing of oceanographic data as well as using “off the shelf” software for this purpose
