The Robotics Paint Engineer will lead the design, development, and implementation of robotic systems for paint applications, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and reliability. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand paint process requirements and translate them into robotic programming strategies.
Responsibilities
* Program and optimize robotic systems, including Fanuc robots, for various paint applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing production lines
* Conduct testing and validation of robotic systems to ensure performance meets quality and safety standards
* Troubleshoot and debug robotic systems, identifying and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in robotic paint applications, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation
* Provide technical support and training to production staff on the operation and maintenance of robotic systems
* Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate robotic equipment and components, ensuring compatibility and reliability
* Participate in new product development projects, providing expertise on robotic paint applications and contributing to design reviews and feasibility studies
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards governing robotic systems and paint processes
* Oversee the setup, calibration, and maintenance of painting equipment and systems
* Conduct comprehensive analyses of paint defects, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to uphold product integrity
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing paint consumption, minimizing waste, and enhancing environmental sustainability
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree
* At least 8 years of product manufacturing experience
* At least 1 year lead experience

The Repair Technician troubleshoots, repairs and installs parts on commercial trucks. Repair Technicians contribute and support the production of commercial trucks that deliver superior Quality and Uptime.
Our standard production schedule is 5:30am-4pm Monday through Thursday
All roles must be flexible to work overtime as needed including same day and weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Responsibilities
Working within the International Operating System , read and follow written and verbal work instructions and standard operating procedures with emphasis on safety and quality inclusive of:
* Demonstrating overall safe work behavior; including the utilization of proper safety equipment and adhering to safety guidelines
* Identifying and correcting potentially unsafe situations/conditions or notifying proper team members about unsafe or emergency situations and recommending corrective measures, actions or special equipment needed to improve safety
* Following accepted housekeeping assignments and assuring work area meets acceptable housekeeping and safety standards
* Collaborating with peers to accomplish projects or tasks and participate in group cost improvement events, discussions and meetings
* Keeping supervisors and peers informed about accomplishments, quality/Safety issues/problems, and/or changes
* Performing routine inspections on products, processes, materials to assure work output meets specifications of shop floor paperwork
* Assembling and installing parts using hand tools, air tools and/or power tools
* Fitting, bolting or otherwise connecting components and equipment according to work instructions and specifications
* Attending to equipment and ensuring proper operation. Participate in the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance
* Loading raw materials into production processes and removing output from machines or fixtures
* Troubleshooting defects using diagnostic tooling and perform repairs as directed
* Performing disassembly and adjusts or repairs connectivity of engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials, brakes, electrical systems, fuel systems, and any other motor truck related equipment and systems.
* Using tools of the trade including precision equipment, shop machines and power tools
* Utilizing International systems to retrieve drawings, special features and truck information
* Assisting in the training of peers as required

We currently have a great opportunity for a Validation Project Engineer on our TRATON USA's R&D Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be hands-on with physical testing, validation, and development of commercial vehicle components-including cabs, doors, interiors, exteriors, hoods, steering systems, and more. You will collaborate closely with Design and Analysis teams to ensure tests are aligned with overall validation strategies and performance objectives.
Responsibilities
* Test Preparation:
* Work closely with design, analysis, and program teams to develop test plans to achieve desired outcome.
* Coordinate test assembly and inspections with Lab Technician
* Test Assembly:
* Utilize hand and power tools (sockets, ratchets, screwdrivers, impact tools, drills, etc.) to assemble test setups.
* Fixture Design:
* Design test fixtures using NX, AutoCAD, or other CAD systems
* Select appropriate materials for durability and performance.
* Fixture Fabrication:
* Perform basic fabrication tasks needed for test preparations
* Construct fixtures using Unistrut, angle plates, etc.
* Electronics & Controls:
* Build and design controller boxes.
* Solder, wire, connect, and power various sensor systems.
* Programming & Data Acquisition:
* Develop scripts/programs using Arduino, Excel, VBA, nCode, LabView, and MTS software.
* Pneumatic Systems:
* Install pneumatic fittings, air lines, valves, needle valves, and solenoids.
* Instrumentation:
* Set up and operate sensors such as accelerometers, load cells, LVDTs, strain gages and more.
* Reporting:
* Generate detailed engineering reports summarizing test plans, procedures, results, and data interpretation.

Minimum Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED
* At least 3 years of experience in maintenance related field

* High School Diploma or GED
* Successful completion of and graduation from the Texas Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) Advanced Manufacturing Technician (AMT) program

* Must have organization skills, effective communication skills with both technical and professional staff

* Possess a working knowledge of 480 volt, 277 volt, 240 volt, 208 volt and 120/24 volt systems with the ability to implement these voltages, including routing of all conduit and wires installing breaker panels, disconnects, transformers, lighting, etc. and performing terminations without supervision
* Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical components
* Basic knowledge of industrial safety requirements related to hazardous, flammable, and explosive materials and environments
* Ability to self-manage work priorities
* Ability to troubleshoot problems and offer solutions on all industrial systems
* Knowledge of preventive maintenance
* Ability to work efficiently and with a sense of urgency
* Knowledge of INFOR and MTTR
* Ability to specify the needed parts for equipment or process failures
