**US Homebased** A Contracts Manager with Parexel is a client facing role and requires consistent management of the contract management processes, development of client-specific standards as required, documentation and negotiations. This position requires CRO experience in commercial contracts. **Key Accountabilities** :
**Contract Development:**

+ Prepare draft contract documents from Parexel templates per guidance and in conjunction with relevant departments.
+ Identifies and manages contractual issues that require finance/tax/other internal stakeholder input and applies lessons learned to similar scenarios in new contracts.
+ Ensure all documents and files are saved in the appropriate areas and keep all data updated regularly in systems used for metrics and KPI purposes.

+ Organize and manage time (e.g. Prepare sufficiently detailed handoff before taking time off, develop contract plans and structure work priorities / deliverables).
+ Proactive management of process and deadlines.
+ Serves as a resource for less experienced team members (e.g. mentor, SME).
+ Aids team members as workload allows.
+ Analyzes, and makes recommendations when asking questions/seeking guidance/approval.
+ Adhere to internal / external expectations and deadlines.
+ Map client bid-grids independently; review and update mapping references to pricing tool as required.
+ Participates in projects/initiatives as needed (i.e. process improvement initiatives, tool refresh, change champion, etc.).

+ Comprehensive knowledge of relevant software (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Databases).
+ Comprehensive knowledge of cash flow and revenue recognition.
+ 4-6 years of previous experience in project support, finance, contracting, or proposals in a CRO or similar environment. Previous experience in proposal development is a plus. Multinational and multicultural companies experience is also a plus.
+ Ability to work from home.
+ Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours as needed to meet the client's proposal deadline.
+ Supervisory experience is a plus.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Business, Languages or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred.

Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
Graduate, postgraduate, 4-year college degree
Equivalent experience ideally in a scientific or healthcare discipline
Relevant experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating site Clinical Trial Agreements, vendor contracts and site Budget negotiations, but no less than 5 years' experience.
Experienced leading interactions with Study Teams and Sponsor
Preferred:
Bachelors in law, scientific fields, business administration or equivalent degree
Excellent organizational and communication skills and attention to detail

Act as a subject matter expert when presenting to Senior Leadership on complex deal concepts and non-standard provisions requiring executive approval.
Work both independently/autonomously and as part of a team to identify and analyze unique contractual relationships and craft business terms to best fit the business relationship and Fresenius Kabi.
May require administration of customer pricing and maintaining master customer data in enterprise systems.
Identify and lead cross-functional process improvement opportunities in coordination with stakeholders.
Proactively track, govern and lead expiring contracts or extension activities.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required. Advanced degrees, paralegal, or certifications are a plus.
Minimum of 5+ years of related experience in customer contracting, sales/marketing, pricing, including reviewing, drafting with proven and proficient negotiating skills.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, hospital/pharmacy products, and/or medical device contractual terms and conditions is strongly preferred.
Biosimilars/Biologic experience highly preferred.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 per year

Working knowledge of the administration and governance of pricing relationships, membership rosters, and contract eligibility process.
Manage the deadlines and follow-up with all key stakeholders regarding status of projects to ensure timely and accurate execution.
Collect feedback and report status from internal and external customers on business metrics and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
Prepare ad hoc reporting as needed.
Identify and lead process improvement opportunities and tool enhancement opportunities in coordination with stakeholders to ensure timely execution.

Requirements

Job Summary
The Analyst 3, Customer Contract Administrator will play a critical role in managing the lifecycle of distribution and customer contracts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient processing. This position involves direct interaction with internal stakeholders and may include external customer communication to facilitate smooth contract execution and administration.
Job Responsibilities
Administer and maintain a portfolio of customer contracts, including but not limited to, new agreements, renewals, amendments, and terminations.
Review contract terms and conditions for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Collaborate with sales, legal, finance, and other internal departments to ensure proper contract alignment and resolution of discrepancies.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in contract administration, sales operations, or a similar analytical role
Strong understanding of distribution contract terms and conditions, and experience with various contract types.
Proficiency in contract lifecycle management (CLM) software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle and JDE).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required

This role is responsible for end-to-end management of contracts that support Global Medical Affairs operations, excluding those with healthcare professionals or organizations. This includes agreements with vendors, consultants, technology platforms, contract research organizations (CROs), publication and medical education vendors, and other third-party service providers. **Contract Development and Management Expertise**
+ Lead drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing comprehensive non-HCP contracts such as (but not limited to):
+ Service agreements (e.g., for medical writing vendors, MSL platforms, publication planning, scientific communications)
+ CRO/ vendor contracts for medical affairs-sponsored studies (e.g., observational, RWE, Phase IV)
+ Data sharing, data use and collaboration agreements
+ Software or SaaS contracts supporting medical platforms (e.g., publication management, KOL engagement tools)
+ Confidentiality Agreements (CDAs/NDAs)
+ Engagement Agreements (MSAs, SOWs)
+ Other (work orders, amendments, change orders)
+ Define commercial terms, scope of work, deliverables, payment schedules, milestones, and risk allocations
+ Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal and external stakeholders to ensure performance expectations are clearly defined and met

**Cross-functional Liaison & Vendor POC**

+ Ensure timely internal contract review and execution across all stakeholders

+ Serve as the main point of contact within Global Medical Affairs for all non-HCP contract-related inquiries and escalations
**Vendor Service / Execution Oversight**

+ Design, implement, and refine contracting workflows, templates, metrics, and dashboards
+ Standardize contract language and contracting best practices across Global Medical Affairs

**Qualifications**
**Education and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree (Business, Life Sciences, Law, or related field) required;
+ Minimum 5 years of contract management experience, ideally in life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industries; experience within Medical Affairs is a plus
+ Experience negotiating and managing service / vendor contracts, especially SOWs, in a regulated environment
+ Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with legal, procurement, finance, and business stakeholders
