Technical Data Stewards are responsible for technical data management and to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data within their purview. Help to ensure that the data in their purview is properly defined. Provide technical advisory and support to Business Data Stewards, Managing Data Stewards, and business stakeholders in the execution of data governance activities.
Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders to implement standards, controls, and technical data solutions in accordance with EDG Instruction, standards, and procedures
Support the Business Data Steward in the operationalization of BU data governance plan, to include technical enablement of data governance
Ensure authorization for technical data decisions and enforce technical data standards for existing data assets and new initiatives
Serve as point of contact to support, facilitate, coordinate technical data issues for their respective business area data and data teams
Work with Business Data Stewards to resolve, support and / or facilitate data issues and deploy data solutions with respective business area data teams
Provide the technical expertise to direct or support efforts around source systems, extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes, data stores, data warehouses, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools
Ensure technical data governance controls are effective
Coordinate with and support the Business Data Steward and Managing Data Steward to ensure data decisions are communicated to relevant stakeholders and technology groups understand impacts of data-related decisions
Responsible for capturing and maintaining data lineage (technical metadata attributes) with respective business area data teams
Perform complex data analysis to support technical data governance decisions
Work with stakeholders to analyze, design, and implement technical solutions to resolve monitor data issues or fulfil coordinate data requests with respective business area data teams
Responsible for technical provisioning of data-access requirements
Provide support to the Business Data Steward and Managing Data Steward in response to inquiries from the Data Security Event Management team; providing support related to unauthorized access of data
Provide support to the Business Data Steward and Managing Data Steward to partner with Information Security, offering resolution services to assist when unprotected data is discovered on Navy Federal networks or endpoints
Support execution of Enterprise Data Governance policies, standards, and procedures through technology
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Experience in data cataloging, metadata collection, business glossary, data lineage, master data management, metadata quality monitoring
Experience developing or implementing data governance capabilities in either a local area or across an organization
Working knowledge of data governance industry best practices Understand the business practices and technical processes for which they are responsible
Able to assess data changes for technology impacts
Able to assess technology changes for business impacts
Able to balance business needs with technical capabilities
Effective communicator and able to present technical data-related decisions, recommendations, implications, and value to Business counterparts
Excellent root cause analysis skills
Understand existing technology implementations from data-driven perspective

Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities:
As an experienced Director/Vice President Risk Ranking Specialist in GFC, you will:
Assist with development and optimization of the Enterprise Customer Risk Ranking (ECRR) program to meet new or evolving regulatory requirements, industry best practices and Firm/GFC risk tolerances.
Work with partners in engineering to draft requirements and user stories, conduct business analysis exercises and assist in the prioritization of product backlog items
Liaise with stakeholders and subject matter experts across regions and business units to gather feedback and requirements
Support the business-as-usual processes related to ECRR, including executing administrative tasks and coordinating configuration and reference data updates within the system
Conduct ongoing monitoring of the ECRR model and partner with the Model Risk Control Team to perform root-cause analysis of anomalies.

Global Financial Crimes (GFC) coordinates day-to-day implementation of the Firm's enterprise-wide financial crime prevention efforts. Developing, prioritizing, and implementing strategic enhancements to GFC technology

Primary Responsibilities:
The individual will be required to:
Implement complex, strategic initiatives for GFC across Morgan Stanley regions and businesses
Partner with GFC management during business integrations to ensure processes are migrated effectively

What We're Looking for in You:
Have 8+ years of experience with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/AML regulations within the financial services industry, at a financial services regulator (e.g., Federal Reserve, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Securities and Exchange Commission, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, etc.), or at a consulting firm (PwC, Ernst & Yong, etc.)

Primarily responsible for working with customers interested in identifying and obtaining permanent FHA/VA and conventional mortgage loans and other residential mortgage programs that best meet the customer's financial needs and objectives, and adhering to the requirements of federal registration under the SAFE Act.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Interviews applicants to collect and analyze information regarding their income, assets, debts and credit data as well as their needs, desires, and earnings to assist in determining whether the loan will be an acceptable risk; obtains and analyzes pertinent financial and credit data.
+ Independently assesses applicant's credit worthiness. Has authority to issue pre-qualification statement of borrowers' eligibility.
+ Determines which products best meet the customer's needs and financial circumstances and advises potential borrowers regarding the advantages and disadvantages of different financial products and the most appropriate mortgage loan programs.
+ Makes recommendations to customers regarding other bank products or to alternative lending vehicles, as needed.
+ Cultivates new mortgage business. Markets, services and promotes the bank's mortgage products. This includes the solicitation of residential first mortgages through contacts with Realtors, builders, and developers.
+ May be required to travel to and work at prospective customers' homes or business locations. Follows-up on potential customers via travel or telephone.
+ Negotiates terms and conditions of loan with mortgagors. Has authority to bind the bank in connection therewith.
+ Ensures lending compliance with all origination procedures including bank policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
+ Advises management on effective compliance strategies and potential modifications to corporate operating policies where appropriate to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.

**Scope of Responsibilities:**
The incumbent always works under limited supervision, sometimes away from the office.
The position requires extensive external contacts (potential and existing customers, Realtors, etc.), as well as internal contacts (other Bank personnel) primarily on sales calls outside the office.

To review and evaluate options for mortgage loan retention, term revision or liquidation to mitigate loss for Navy Federal. To process bankruptcy impaired mortgage and equity loans by gathering and analyzing bankruptcy notifications, facilitating Proof of Claims, Motion for Relief and/or charge off. To set up and process Real Estate Owned (REO) files and properties, monitor progress and provides necessary status reports to management. To provide specialized servicing of mortgage loans identified as eligible for programs such as Short Sale and HAMP (Home Affordable Modification Program), while ensuring compliance with investor and insurer guidelines and program-specific regulations. To modify the terms of the loan, communicate changes to members and investors, close transactions in a timely manner, and facilitate the smooth transition to the newly agreed terms.
Responsibilities
+ Collect all required information and documents (e.g., income statements, pay stubs, assets, etc.); perform review for eligibility according to HAMP and/or Short Sale programs
+ Complete foreclosure sales to ensure bid and investor guidelines are observed; manage and update system with loan payoffs and lien releases
+ Contact/assign appropriate state attorney with the foreclosure referral letter and all applicable notification, payoff statements, Notes, Mortgage documents and Demands
+ Determine mortgage loan retention or liquidation by reviewing available mortgage information; present recommendations to the Foreclosure Committee
+ Evaluate income, expenses, debt, other monthly financial obligations, credit reports and titles to determine the financial status/ability of loan holder to pay; identify possible alternatives to foreclosure or charge-off
+ Identify and review Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings to determine the potential for asset recovery
+ Manage the mortgage loan modification process by coordinating efforts with relevant parties such as FNMA, FHLMC and Wells Fargo while ensuring compliance with investor requirements
+ Review appraisal information to verify existing data and/or validate new information; work with vendors to assure an accurate appraisal is established in the case file
+ Review loan terms with members, coordinate activities with vendors to ensure smooth transition to newly agreed terms and record modification documents with appropriate county
+ Track loans in the Bankruptcy system of record and monitor loans to ensure system of record is accurate and up-to-date
+ Update tracking database and online system; provide required reporting to investors as well as specialized reports on loan modifications to management
+ Work with members and attorneys to discuss loss mitigation options; communicate with bankruptcy courts, trustees and other interested parties to ensure appropriate and timely action is taken
+ Perform other duties as assigned
