**Job Summary**
The Inside Sales Operations Manager is responsible for driving strategic sales growth, shaping bid and pricing strategies, and managing full-cycle sales operations across MRO, Home Center, and Digital Retail channels. This role requires exercising independent judgment on matters of significance, including customer engagement strategies, quoting methodologies, profitability decisions, and alignment with business goals. Serve as the internal escalation point, exercising independent judgment to resolve conflicts and align deliverables.
+ Project & Operational Excellence: Drive end-to-end project execution for complex or strategic accounts, including needs assessment, delivery planning, and post-sale support. Evaluate and approve resource allocation for priority accounts. Continuously assess business practices and recommend operational improvements to senior leadership.

**Job Summary**
Acuity Brands Lighting is seeking a highly skilled and driven professional individual to join our team as a Regional Field Support Technician. This role requires a strong foundation in both mechanical and electrical systems and a demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional technical support and customer service.
Based near our Conyers, GA office, the Field Support Technician will be responsible for performing on-site system startups, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and customer training for Acuity's advanced lighting and control systems. Service coverage will primarily include the state of Georgia and adjacent regions, with additional support in Mexico and Canada as required. Typical service engagements can range from one to five days in duration.

**Tax Compliance**
+ Oversee preparation of and review U.S. international tax calculations and associated filings prepared by external providers (e.g., Forms 1118, 5471, 8858, 8975, 8990, 8991, 8992, and 8993) to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance and timely submission
+ Monitor developments in U.S. international and non-U.S. tax laws and assess their impact on the company
**Tax Provision**
+ Lead preparation and review of quarterly and year-end U.S. international tax item calculations (e.g., GILTI, Subpart F, BEAT, foreign tax credit)

This role is responsible for test and measurement operations on Acuity Brands lighting products, components, and related materials. Additionally, this person will help maintain activity records, generate finished reports for the customer and forward finalized reports to the customer once the supervisor has reviewed and approved. Matrix partners for our Lab Technicians include engineers to modify products for additional testing.
**Key responsibilities include:**
- Certification testing to ensure products meet internal and external specifications (including any or all: UL, CSA, ANSI, and IEC). Testing is based on adapting the generic Certification body test method to the specific Acuity Brands product and includes set-up, testing, reporting, and interpretation of results to product groups. This includes testing of digital, analog, and mixed signal electronic circuits for lighting and lighting controls. Responsibilities require soldering and thermocouple adhesion to board level components such as LEDs and resistors.
- Validation testing of Acuity Brands products, including electrical, mechanical, environmental, FCC, IEC, and IEEE testing, is required for third-party safety verification.
- Photometric testing utilizing goniophotometers and integrating spheres to measure total flux output, spatial intensity distribution, and spectral distribution per IES, ANSI, and other applicable standards.

The Impact You Will Have
The Underwriting Technician Team Lead (UT TL), reports directly to the Senior Manager - NA Regional Operations and will excel at balancing UT production volumes, Underwriter satisfaction, and core leadership duties. The UT TL will exhibit the ability to work and influence cross functionally and across disciplines to achieve established business goals.
