POSITION SUMMARY:

\tFlexible: Available to work all shifts (Mornings, Afternoons, and Overnights), including weekends and holidays.
\tCustomer-Centric: You understand that you are working in a senior living community with independent living residents and assisted living residents. A friendly, patient, and helpful demeanor is absolutely required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
\tModels a service attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to resident, patients, and co-workers.
\tTeam Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor the security team to ensure peak performance and professional conduct.
\tPolicy Enforcement: Firmly and fairly enforce all community policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
\tCampus Patrols: Actively monitor the 66-acre campus via foot patrols and golf cart patrols to ensure all areas are secure.
\tResident Transportation: Safely transport residents in a company vehicle to various buildings and appointments throughout the campus.
\tExceptional Hospitality: Act as a brand ambassador. Provide "White Glove" customer service to residents, families, and guests.
\tEmergency Response: Serve as the lead point of contact during incidents, coordinating with local emergency services when necessary.
\tReporting: Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and shift summaries for management review.
\tOther duties assigned by the Security Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
\tHigh school diploma or G.E.D.
\tPrevious experience in security supervision is highly preferred
\tPossess a valid Level 2 Security Guard Card
\tPossess a valid Texas Drivers License and a clean driving record (required for resident transport)
\tAbility to lift at least 25 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods of time
\tAbility to perform frequent foot patrols and operate a golf cart in various weather conditions
\tAbility to read, write and effectively communicate in English
\tAbility to work well with all people and maintain a helpful, understanding, and positive attitude
\tAbility to work with diverse staff across different levels of authority
\tExcellent communications
\tLegible handwriting
\tCompetent computer skills

Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu, while utilizing standardized recipes to do so.
Ensure that food prepared is of proper quantity and in accordance with established time schedules.
Utilize correct portion control utensils during the preparation and duration of food service in order to ensure that the proper quantity of food is prepared.
Check and maintain proper food temperatures during food preparation and services, making sure to record those temperatures according to the established policy.
Ensure that an adequate supply of food, supplies, etc. are available at all times; reporting inadequate stock levels to the supervisor in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must possess at minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Must have, as a minimum, 1 year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
Food handler's permit required
Any combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
Must be able to speak, understand, and write fluently in English
