Job Description Responsibilities Generate new cross-platform ad sales revenue through integrated, multi-platform sponsorships on NBC Sports Bay Area and California, NBC Bay Area (KNTV) and Telemundo (KSTS). Cross-Platform portfolio features NBC Spot On, an OTT CTV solution that includes exclusive NBC content that is only available through Peacock. As a Account Manager you will be responsible for the coordination, management and execution of merchandising projects across multiple clients. Though the role's responsibilities are wide ranging and ever changing, this predominantly includes facilitation and oversight of the design, manufacture, sale and fulfilment of product, as well as the coordination of merchandise for client retail stores and pop-up shops, artist tours, events, and ecommerce opportunities. Work closely with Book Sales team on all span deliverables. • Attend trade shows/conventions/events as necessary to communicate priority titles and new publishing initiatives. • Coordinate support for all academic marketing and library marketing initiatives. • Manage all galley and promotional items distribution including management of NetGalley and Edelweiss platforms. Liaise with Editorial and Production teams to ensure galleys and all promotional materials are delivered and distributed to trade outlets and distributors in a timely manner. • Partner with Social Strategy & Digital Content team on marketing executions for priority graphic novels and collected editions. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience… Work Experience • At least five (5) years of relevant work experience in sales and/or marketing required. • Experience in publishing, comics, and/or book retail preferred. Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience required. Knowledge and Skills • Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully (both verbally and in writing) with individuals at all levels of the organization. • Must be able to organize effectively and pay close attention to details. • Must be able to work well under time constraints, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks and project elements simultaneously. • Must have excellent project management skills. • Intermediate to advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Photoshop, and InDesign) required. • Knowledge of publishing/comic book industry preferred.
