Responsibilities
Providing editorial support to the NBC news assignment desk- making phone calls, booking interviews, logging press conferences.
Assisting producers with location support, including booking travel and scouting live shot positions.
Pitching, researching, and developing stories for various platforms.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program. Spring 2026 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2026 internship program.
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
Must be available to work 40 hours per week from June 1 - August 7, 2026.
Must be willing to work in Chicago, IL.

Managing a caseload of 13-15 patients on a specialized child and adolescent inpatient unit.
Collaborating with a treatment team including psychologists, social workers, nurses, educators and recreation therapists.

Very comfortable using computers, learning new software and troubleshooting technical issues; comfortable using Excel; experience with Shopify / shipping platforms is a plus! (but not required)
Details:
Approximately 25-30 hours per week, Monday - Friday (with ability to increase during busy periods)

Drives advertising and revenue across NBCU's linear, streaming, and social platforms by managing client and agency relationships, developing new business, and supporting the full sales process, advertising strategy, and cross-department collaboration.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program. Spring 2026 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2026 internship program.
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
Must be available to work 40 hours per week from June 1 - August 7, 2026.
Must be willing to work in Chicago, IL.
For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.
