Job Description
The Universal Film Group FP&A team is hiring a Manager of Finance, responsible for leading the consolidation, analysis, and forecasting of global P&L for the entire Film Group. The role is in a fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with senior executives and opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support the consolidation & analysis of the Film Group's global P&L forecasting routines (budget, quarterly estimates, and monthly pacings), and communicate results to Film, Studios, and NBCUniversal leadership
Oversee the preparation and submission of forecast details and variance commentary to Corporate FP&A
Provide thoughtful quantitative and qualitative analysis during quarter close & budget/forecast cycles
Leverage film financial database system to build robust analytical tools to support and continuously improve FP&A pacing process
Direct consultation, collaboration, and communication with finance teams across the 11 Film business units to ensure coordinated processes and timely FP&A reporting
Manage the Film Cost/ Participations and Residuals amortization process and work closely with the Film HQ Controllership Team during monthly and quarterly close

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

Your New Role
As a key strategic business partner to the Global Content Operations (GCO) division (1,600 headcount, $350M+ of managed spend) this role will serve as the primary point of contact to a portfolio of GCO senior leadership, providing support for the integration of business initiatives and oversight for the preparation and review of the division's consolidated operating results, budgets and forecasts, and related financial reporting packages. The role also plays a key leading role in the financial oversight of the WB/GCO Post Production department. In addition, the role will provide support for ad hoc financial analysis, financial systems initiatives, audit support activities as well as ad hoc modeling and KPI / utilization projects.
Your Role Accountabilities
LRP & Monthly Reforecasting - Management and production of the consolidated budget for GCO / PPCS P&Ls, as well as LRP, budget, and monthly reforecasts for headcount, related expenditure and capital spend. Ensure that any risks and opportunities to the latest budget / forecast are correctly understood, quantified, and reflected in the forecast as appropriate.
Reporting - Partner with Regional and Operating Management to ensure that all relevant information is captured and reflected in budgets and forecasts, challenging and verifying all underlying assumptions to ensure the integrity of the numbers. Ensure accuracy of data and that all timelines, processes and controls are adhered to, in line with company policy.
Analysis - Oversee delivery of variance analysis for GCO / PPCS expenses (e.g. actual versus budget comparison). Review and consolidate business cases, forecasts and scenario analysis for new business initiatives, support new projects and initiations with financial analysis and modelling, establish clearly defined, roll-out and report on other core measures of success (financial and non-financial) for all GCO operations. Support resource planning, headcount allocation, cost modelling and volume planning. Track and report on the performance of executed projects and other business initiatives that are implemented and fully integrate these into the international consolidated reporting process. Provide ad hoc analysis, forecasting and modelling as required.
Business Partner - Work across global partners and clients to support the operations of the GCO and PPCS business. This includes overseas Centers of Excellence (CoE) FP&A and US Tech Finance Teams to gain a full understanding of the business and operations and liaising with core People and Culture leads to reconcile headcount, systems and streamline and improve processes on an ongoing basis. Partner with the commercial teams, the Business Process Improvement (BPI) team and Project Delivery Group (PDG), and functional leads and operations teams.
Systems - Train/educate business contacts to use and understand financial/data analysis and reporting tools as appropriate. Liaising with budget holders and business contacts to ensure the correct coding of GCO / PPCS expenditure. Ensure monthly and annual planning processes are completed and uploaded into relevant systems in line with reporting deadlines.

THE JOB
The Manager Cyber Security Risk will focus efforts on managing and reporting on cyber risks globally across WBD. You will play a crucial role in assessing, managing, and driving mitigation of risks associated with our wider cybersecurity program. Job Description
Role Purpose
Manager, Accounting and Reporting, participates in the day-to-day operations of the Studio Group Headquarters Controllership team, and will assist in a wide range of accounting and consolidation matters for Film and TV, including supporting financial reporting obligations to NBCUniversal Corporate, Comcast and external parties. The role is in a fast-paced headquarters environment, interfaces with teams domestically and internationally, and has opportunities for growth.
This role will manage the Senior Financial Analyst, Consolidation and Reporting and report to the Director, Consolidation and Reporting, while overseeing the Business Process Outsourcing provider and working closely with the broader Studio Group Controllership and Finance teams.
Essential Responsibilities
Operational:
Key contributor to the monthly and quarterly close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, roll-forwards, variance analyses and supporting schedules across various financial statement line items.
Responsible for quarterly NBCU Corporate data requests, which include individual preparation, review of submissions provided by the offshore business provider and gathering/consolidation of information provided by multiple business units.
Oversees cash receipts application across DreamWorks, Focus Features & NBCU Universal bank accounts; reviews journal entries and analysis prepared by the Senior Financial Analyst and offshore business provider. Monitor unclaimed cash.
Perform all Controllership responsibilities for Peacock Kids, including but not limited to production accounting, journal entry preparation, AP processing, variance analysis and cost oversight, working closely with the business operators.
Act as a center of excellence and support for business units by providing and enforcing guidance and best practices, validating balances from a consolidated perspective, and investigating variances to prior periods.
Coordinate and oversee Studio Group business units' adherence to various tasks and processes, including but not limited to internal controls, close requirements, and financial reporting deliverables.
Participate and collaborate on corporate driven initiatives and process change across the business, including special projects. In the next year, this will include significant emphasis on NBCU's transition to the SAP S4 platform.
Manage work performed by business process outsourcing provider, including training, and review and maintenance of desktop procedures.
Proactively identify opportunities to build efficiencies and consistencies into existing accounting and reporting processes and implement process improvements.
Collaborate with broader Controllership groups on process benchmarking and with FP&A on period close status.
Participate in ongoing learning and cross-training opportunities.
Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.
People & Leadership:
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with cross-functional finance teams.
Contribute to coaching and developing Studio Group controllership staff professionally and technically.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of accounting related experience. (Combination of public accounting and private industry experience preferred.)
Microsoft Suites skills are essential, including strong/exceptional Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables and v-lookup) and heavy knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
CPA or on path to obtaining CPA license preferred.
Experience with SAP and AoE preferred.
Entertainment experience preferred.

Universal Studio Group is hiring a Production Finance Associate to enhance our robust studio team. We seek a high-performing, motivated, conscientious, detail-oriented professional who exhibits strong production accounting skills. You will be a part of a dynamic and creative Production Finance team working directly with our production business units in the planning, financial administration and production of first-class television programming. Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Bachler's Degree preferred
2+ years of film and/or television industry production finance or production accounting experience preferred

Universal Studio Group is hiring a Production Finance Associate to enhance our robust studio team. We seek a high-performing, motivated, conscientious, detail-oriented professional who exhibits strong production accounting skills. You will be a part of a dynamic and creative Production Finance team working directly with our production business units in the planning, financial administration and production of first-class television programming. The successful candidate should emphasize cross-functional collaboration with all business partners for process improvements and efficiencies, along with partnering closely with our internal teams, such as Production, Finance, Business Affairs, Legal, Post, Programming, etc. One should have a strong knowledge of entertainment industry production accounting and reporting. They should be self-motivated, proactive, able to pivot when necessary, thorough, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail coupled with a strong sense of integrity.
Essential Responsibilities
* Communicate with Production Finance Executives and keep them abreast of any finance, production and accounting related issues.

* Assist with the Finalization of episodic cost reporting and performance of final close procedures to ensure external and internal accounting records reconcile.
