Job Description
As a
Development/Booking Producer
at Dateline NBC, you will be responsible for identifying and researching potential stories, and contacting and booking interview guests for Dateline episodes. The Development/Booking Producer will be involved in production across the United States, including covering trials and producing high-quality interviews under tight deadlines. Your role will involve assessing potential stories, taking booking trips to secure exclusive interviews on competitive stories, and helping produce those interviews as needed. You will participate in post-production during the writing and editing process. You will work closely with correspondents, producers, camera crews and editors, to ensure that each report is accurate, fair, and engaging.
Responsibilities:
Find and book compelling guests for the show, following booking protocols
Write preparation documents for interviews
Develop and produce guest segments
Help guide the content and tone of episodes, via prep and support during interviews
Contribute to editorial planning of episodes
Consistently generate timely and informed pitches
Contribute to unit's overall booking and outreach as needed
Implement work with guidance from Senior and Executive Producer

KSTS Telemundo 48 is looking for a dynamic, passionate, and skilled multiplatform content producer to join our award-winning team. The candidate will be responsible for creating content for our broadcast and digital platforms in Spanish. In this role, the multiplatform content producer will develop original content focusing on news in the Bay Area and Northern California. This person will work closely with producers, assignment editors, reporters, and anchors to write, edit, and gather content on all KSTS platforms, linear and digital, including FAST. Your New Role:
The Remote A2 (Audio Assist) is the extension of the A1 and the main audio point of contact when the A1 is not at site. They will work closely with the show Audio Engineer (A1) to determine the technical audio needs of a remote production. The Remote A2 will be capable of providing accurate and precise real-time information or feedback to the Audio Engineer (A1) to resolve any issues during a production. This position would be responsible for anticipating potential points of failure in the audio workflow or equipment and point it out to the Audio Engineer (A1).
Your Role Accountabilities:
MFP PRODUCTIONS
Works with the show Audio Engineer (A1) to ensure proper equipment is set up and prepared to technically accomplish assigned production (microphones, antennas, belt packs, etc.)
The Remote A2 will lead the rest of the A2s at site to complete all tasks in a timely and professional manner
Build, save, and recall basic audio console and intercom setups
ALL Productions
Collaborates with the show Audio Engineer (A1) to fax all microphones, IFBs and COMMS channels prior to show and troubleshoot any issues
Properly dresses the microphone and IFB for Productions as needed
During productions, monitor the audio signal flow, battery levels and frequencies for microphones, IFBs and COMMs channels
During production be ready to adjust microphones, IFBs, belt packs or any other piece of audio equipment as necessary or assigned by the Audio Engineer (A1)
Maintain a clean and orderly workstation before and during Productions. After the Production is complete, be responsible that all equipment is returned and in working order. If equipment is damaged, report damage to Tech Manager and assist in getting the proper repair/replacement started
Qualifications & Experiences:
5 - 7 years of network level broadcast production experience as an Audio Assist (A2) for live/taped studio and/or remote (on location) productions
In-depth knowledge of audio signal flow including but not limited to, network ports, audio routing and patching
Knowledge of current industry standards
In-depth knowledge of the basic types of microphones used for remote production
Proficient on all microphone setups and applications, including hiding lavaliers and professional protocol when dressing microphones
In-depth knowledge of RF systems including but not limited to frequency spectrum and antenna placement/distribution
Knowledge of Intercom systems for studio and remote production
Must have strong leadership skills as well as excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
Must take ownership and accountability for assigned projects
Must be able to handle the pressures of live programming and limited time constraints

The Deputy Opinion Editor will work closely with the Opinion Editor, columnists, and freelance contributors to ensure high-quality, engaging commentary across digital, print, and social platforms. Responsibilities:
+ Support the Opinion Editor in managing the editorial page and day-to-day operations of the opinion section
+ Edit op-ed columns, and editorials for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with the Post's voice and standards
