Job Description:
The SeniorFinancialAnalyst of Global Television Distribution is responsible for the consolidation and analysis of NBCUniversal's television product distributed globally. In this role, the SFA will support the preparation of ultimates and revenue forecasting across television content. This position will be responsible for working collaboratively with the Revenue Planning Groups, Studios/content owners and Information Technology.
Responsibilities
Oversee development and update of television ultimates, including presenting findings to senior management and stakeholders
Manage consolidation of all Television Distribution financial planning activities including system uploads (Annual Budget and Forecasts, Monthly Pacing & Close, Quarterly Volume Updates) across multiple platforms, territories & NBCU Television product owners
Summarize financial results and variances against prior plan/forecasts for various stakeholders including TVD management and NBCU Television product owners
Serve as a line of communication between television stakeholders and TVD Finance
Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support senior management decisions and initiatives

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
2+ years of experience in performing quantitative analysis, forecasting, and/or financial modelling
Proficient Microsoft Excel (formulas & pivot tables)

· Manage various aspects of Participation Statement Reporting from the analysis and calculation all the way through cash pacing, payment, and statement delivery.

Job Description
The SeniorFinancialAnalyst for the Theme Park Food & Beverage Finance team will play a pivotal role in supporting both the financial planning & analysis cycle and the daily operations of all Food & Beverage venues within the park. * Support Finance Manager with Global Consumer Products P&L consolidations during financial cycles across Forecast, Budget, Long Range Plan, Quarter end close and Head Quarters pacing, including deck presentations.
* Responsible for updating data models for the Global Consumer Products Revenue Forecast including maintaining global master mapping files.
* Create and maintain historical data files and dashboards that deliver real time visibility into performance that provides compelling insights to leadership.
* Key contributor for the monthly and quarter close processes partnering with controllership on close deliverables.
* Support Finance Managers with cost-related activities and deliverables including Overhead and T&E actualization and maintenance of direct cost files and WBSE hierarchies.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* 3+ years of professional experience in FP&A and/or Finance related fields combined
* Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
* Experience in Consumer Products or Consolidations a plus
* Excellent Excel, financial analytical skills are essential
* Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (Power Query) necessary
* Strong analytics and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and high standards in quality and accurate reporting
* Experience with SAP preferred (S4/SAC)

Role Purpose
Manager, Accounting and Reporting, participates in the day-to-day operations of the Studio Group Headquarters Controllership team, and will assist in a wide range of accounting and consolidation matters for Film and TV, including supporting financial reporting obligations to NBCUniversal Corporate, Comcast and external parties. The role is in a fast-paced headquarters environment, interfaces with teams domestically and internationally, and has opportunities for growth.
This role will manage the SeniorFinancialAnalyst, Consolidation and Reporting and report to the Director, Consolidation and Reporting, while overseeing the Business Process Outsourcing provider and working closely with the broader Studio Group Controllership and Finance teams.
Essential Responsibilities
Operational:
Key contributor to the monthly and quarterly close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, roll-forwards, variance analyses and supporting schedules across various financial statement line items.
Responsible for quarterly NBCU Corporate data requests, which include individual preparation, review of submissions provided by the offshore business provider and gathering/consolidation of information provided by multiple business units.
Oversees cash receipts application across DreamWorks, Focus Features & NBCU Universal bank accounts; reviews journal entries and analysis prepared by the SeniorFinancialAnalyst and offshore business provider. Monitor unclaimed cash.
Perform all Controllership responsibilities for Peacock Kids, including but not limited to production accounting, journal entry preparation, AP processing, variance analysis and cost oversight, working closely with the business operators.
Act as a center of excellence and support for business units by providing and enforcing guidance and best practices, validating balances from a consolidated perspective, and investigating variances to prior periods.
Coordinate and oversee Studio Group business units' adherence to various tasks and processes, including but not limited to internal controls, close requirements, and financial reporting deliverables.
Participate and collaborate on corporate driven initiatives and process change across the business, including special projects. In the next year, this will include significant emphasis on NBCU's transition to the SAP S4 platform.
Manage work performed by business process outsourcing provider, including training, and review and maintenance of desktop procedures.
Proactively identify opportunities to build efficiencies and consistencies into existing accounting and reporting processes and implement process improvements.
Collaborate with broader Controllership groups on process benchmarking and with FP&A on period close status.
