O'Berry Neuro-Medical Treatment Center is looking for four cooks to join our Food Service team. The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for preparing assigned food products to include breakfast items, meat entrees, vegetables, casseroles; different diet consistencies including pureed and ground, thickening liquids and for cleaning and sanitizing the production area and dining area. Items created in this area can significantly affect the nutritional quality and acceptance level of patient diets and cost containment. The position will be required to grocery shop once a week. Adheres to all North Carolina rules and regulations for safe operations of State vehicle when shopping for groceries, supplies, etc. Position maintains weekly inventory of food and kitchen items. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Grade Range: $26,851 - $46,991 Annually Recruitment Range: $31,200 - $46,991 Annually Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.
