Responsibilities:
+ Analyze available information including part prints, manufacturing operation sheets and NX part models for the creation and modification of Numerical Control programs for various 2, 3, 4, and 5 axis machine tools using NX CAD/CAM graphical system and APT programming language.
+ Develop and test NC programs with minimal direction.
+ Provide assistance to machine operators and recommendations to Manufacturing Engineers allowing optimization of machining processes and machine tool capabilities.
+ Work to all ACE initiatives following guidelines and contribute to continuous improvement of all work related functions.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Associates in Applied Science in Machine Trades or Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field.
+ Candidate must have 1+ years' experience with programming 2 - 5 axis Machine Tools using Unigraphic and Vericut CAD/CAM software systems.
+ Requires working knowledge of CAM languages, machining techniques and machine tool capabilities to design programs to incorporate machining methods.
+ Must have strong communication and facilitating skills.
+ Must be team and customer focused with strong interpersonal skills.
+ Follow EHS guidelines and procedures such as wearing proper P.P.E., following Job Safety Analysis work sheets and watch for the safety of co-workers.

* Develop solid models from 2D drawings, PDF's, and TIF images.

* Ability to read and understand 3D GD&T information.
