NCC history

NCC was founded on January 1, 1989 and is headquartered in Solna, Sweden.“

In 1997, Siab became a part of NCC. Years of solid experience in the German market were thus acquired.

For undertake the Design Engineering Supply Erection Testing & Commissioning of EHV Transmission Lines 33/11 KV Sub-stations & Lines and Distribution Systems the company established the Electrical Division in the same year 1998.

NCC Group was formed in June 1999, when the National Computing Centre sold its commercial divisions to its existing management team.

In 2000, Rob Cotton was hired as finance director and subsequently took responsibility for the Group’s escrow division.

On July 12, 2004 NCC Group was admitted to trading on AIM, with the flotation raising £38.1 million before expenses.

The Company had started its International operations by registering as a local company in the Sultanate of Oman in May of the year 2005.

NCC Ltd had joined hands with National Highway Authority of India in the year 2006 for different projects.

After rapid expansion, in July 2007 the Group made the move to the London Stock Exchange’s main market.

NCC Ltd had bagged three new orders worth Rs 5.75 billion in June of the year 2008.

In 2009, NCC Housing became a separate business area, gathering all housing projects in NCC.

In 2019, Bonava completed its first acquisition as an independent company when Urbanium, a Norwegian company that develops housing units in the Oslo region, was acquired.
