NCI CEO and leadership

My purpose is to fix what is broken and build what does not exist. I am currently the Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer and a member of the executive leadership team of NCI, a 1,500 person enterprise providing solutions to U.S. defense, intelligence, health and civilian government agencies. At NCI, I lead all AI initiatives around strategy, partnerships, and business development. Before joining NCI, I co-founded CrossChx (now Olive), the industry leader in building meaningful AI that empowers and scales humans. Backed by nearly $75 million in venture capital and under my direction as President, CrossChx quickly expanded to a nationwide customer base with more than 100 employees. During my time as President, CrossChx was named a Best Place to Work for three consecutive years.

Clay Worley serves as senior vice president and chief human resources officer for NCI, responsible for the company’s human resources and security strategy and execution. Clay brings more than 30 years of experience leading human resources teams and driving human capital initiatives across HR functional areas in support of business objectives, most recently as vice president of Human Resources for DXC Technology’s U.S. public sector organization. Prior to this, he worked in various HR leadership roles at Leidos and L‑3 Communications. He currently serves on the board of the Washington Women’s Leadership Initiative as well as the HR Alliance DC organization, and is a member of the board of directors for BioPharma Global. He is involved with community and charitable organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, the Paralyzed Veterans of America’s National Veterans Wheelchair Games, the American Heart Association, and the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s Tech Talent and Veterans Employment initiatives. Clay holds a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Louisville and a master’s in business administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.

Brandy Reed, J.D. is a Chief Legal Counsel at NCI, INC. and Project Manager at NCI INFORMATION SYSTEMS INC and is based in Area, Tennessee. She has worked as Attorney at Kennedy Law, P.C.; Program Integrity Analyst at NCI INFORMATION SYSTEMS INC; and Legal Assistant at Mann Bracken LLP. Brandy studied at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) between 2001 and 2005, Middle Tennessee Electric between 2001 and 2005, and Nashville School of Law between 2007 and 2011.

James D. (Jamie) Collier serves as NCI’s executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. His areas of expertise include strategic business planning; financial reporting and control; overhead management and capital planning; mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; joint venture creation; and business system management. Prior to joining NCI, Jamie was senior vice president of corporate planning and analysis at Leidos, Inc., a $10 billion government solutions and services provider for customers in defense, intelligence, civil and health markets. Jamie led strategic and financial aspects of the merger between Lockheed Martin’s Information Systems and Global Solutions unit and Leidos resulting in today’s Leidos, Inc. While at Lockheed Martin, Jamie held positions of vice president, business operations for various Lockheed Martin operating companies. In these roles, he led all finance and business operations, including financial reporting, pricing, contract administration, and supply chain activities serving a full range of DOD, civil and intelligence community customers. Jamie holds degrees in business administration and communications from the University of Washington.
