Requirements:
3+ years of hands-on experience in a senior Helpdesk or SysAdmin role.

Responsibilities
* Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of Cisco enterprise network solutions, including routers, switches, and firewalls (IOS, NX-OS, ASA/FTD).
* Architect and administer Cisco Meraki environments across MX, MS, and MR platforms, with a focus on SD-WAN design, policy enforcement, and cloud-based management.
* Design and integrate Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for advanced authentication, authorization, and accounting across wired and wireless infrastructures.
* Manage and optimize Cisco Umbrella and other cloud-delivered security platforms to enhance enterprise protection and compliance.
* Oversee Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) systems, ensuring performance, resiliency, and seamless VoIP operations.
* Perform complex troubleshooting, packet analysis, and root cause diagnostics to maintain optimal uptime and reliability.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute infrastructure modernization, migration, and network upgrade projects.
* Maintain comprehensive network documentation, topology diagrams, and configuration standards.
* Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to architectural roadmaps and best practices.
* Enforce network and security compliance standards across all environments.
Requirements
* 8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise network engineering and architecture.
* Expert-level knowledge of Cisco IOS, NX-OS, ASA/FTD, and Meraki platforms.
* Proven hands-on experience with Cisco ISE (policy creation, profiling, AD/LDAP integration).
* Strong understanding of Cisco Umbrella and cloud security models.
* In-depth experience with CUCM, VoIP, and unified communications.
* Proficiency in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, Layer 2/3).
* Familiarity with network performance monitoring tools (SolarWinds, NetFlow, etc.).
* Relevant Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCIE strongly preferred.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible).
* Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure).

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated L1 Network Technician to join our Field Services team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in physical network installations and basic network troubleshooting. The position focuses on rack and stack, patch cabling, and supporting network device deployments in various environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform rack and stack of network devices, servers, and related equipment
Patch cabling: install, terminate, and test Ethernet cables (copper; fiber experience a plus)
Follow cabling best practices for patch panels and cable management
Assist with cable management to maintain organized infrastructure
Use basic console commands (ping, assign IP address, copy/paste configuration) for device setup and troubleshooting
Support device connectivity and resolve basic network issues (e.g., verifying link lights, checking cable continuity)
Install and replace wireless access points (WAPs), including mounting, cabling, and basic configuration
Assist with LAN surveys:
Conduct visual inspections of network rooms, racks, and cabling layouts
Perform basic cable tracing and labeling as directed
Document findings with photos and simple reports
Identify obvious physical issues (e.g., disconnected cables, poor cable management) and report to senior staff
Document installations and updates to network diagrams as directed
Collaborate with senior engineers and client IT teams onsite and remotely
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to L2 engineers or third parties
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety protocols
Physical ability to lift/carry equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
Willingness to work at heights up to 12 feet (ladders) and up to 40 feet (scissor lifts) as needed
Work in various environments: data centers, office buildings, construction sites
Perform other related tasks as required
Must have reliable transportation, be able to drive up to 500 miles, be willing to fly longer distances, and be away from home 75%; must live near a major airport.
Knowledge and Experience
Basic understanding of network device connectivity and cabling standards
Familiarity with console access and basic network commands (ping, IP assignment)
Experience with cable testing tools and equipment preferred
Experience installing and replacing wireless access points (WAPs) preferred
Low voltage cabling experience a plus, but not required
Exposure to LAN survey activities (visual inspections, cable tracing, documentation) a plus
Ability to read and follow network diagrams and instructions

Qualifications
