Serve as the first point of contact by greeting and welcoming patients and others, (in person, at the check-in desk, or via the telephone). Responsible for answering incoming calls in a professional manner, and/or checking in / out patients per established protocols. Responsible for scheduling patient appointments and registering patients.
Required Qualifications:
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year post-secondary education with coursework in business, medical assistant program or nursing assistant program OR equivalent combination of education/experience in customer service or medical scheduling related capacity (one year of education equals one year of experience) required.
• Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service to physicians, patients and other internal/external customers required.
• Ability to work professionally with physicians, clinic staff and patients in a timely, confidential manner required.
• Demonstrated analytical, prioritization and organizational skills required.
• Demonstrated flexibility and dedication to team environment required.
• Effective communication skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in healthcare environment with working knowledge of medical office operations preferred.
• College coursework in business preferred.
• Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel preferred.
• Depending on the position available, fluency in Spanish preferred.

Serve as the first point of contact by greeting and welcoming patients and others, (in person, at the check-in desk, or via the telephone). Responsible for answering incoming calls in a professional manner, and/or checking in / out patients per established protocols. Responsible for scheduling patient appointments and registering patients.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 16 years of age required.
• Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service to physicians, patients and other internal/external customers required.
• Ability to work professionally with physicians, clinic staff and patients in a timely, confidential manner required.
• Demonstrated analytical, prioritization and organizational skills required.
• Demonstrated flexibility and dedication to team environment required.
• Effective communication skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• One year post-secondary education with coursework in business, medical assistant program or nursing assistant program OR equivalent combination of education/experience in customer service or medical scheduling related capacity (one year of education equals one year of experience) preferred.
• Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel preferred.
• Depending on the position available, fluency in Spanish preferred.

Perform delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel for the achievement of patient`s plan of care.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 16 years of age required.
• Possesses a Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska required.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).
• Based on department need, Medication Aide certification and completion of an Injectables course may be required after hire in outpatient settings.

Position Highlights:
6 Neuro is a 48 bed unit caring for medical surgical patients specializing in Neurology and Neurosurgery. Eight of our beds are equipped for long term EEG monitoring. Our specialized patient population includes: strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, brain and spinal cord tumors, and other neurological conditions. The complexity of 6 neuro patients makes for a great learning experience for nurses who are interested in the ICU. Our staff works closely with physician teams, PT/OT, SLP, and other disciplines of the healthcare team to give extraordinary care. We pride ourselves in teamwork and excellence on 6 Neuro.
