Coordinate procedures with appropriate departments and personnel as needed. * Maintain technical skills relating to imaging factors. * Maintain knowledge of anatomy and pathology in order to produce high quality images. * Proficiently operate all functions of radiographic equipment. * Select and manipulate proper technical factors to obtain quality images. * Review images and adjust technical factors or patient positions as needed to assist in diagnosis. * Maintain skills in performing emergency and routine patient care as required. * Utilizes effective patient care and communication skills to obtain optimum patient rapport. * Monitor patient condition and take appropriate action to ensure continuity of patient care. * Ensure patient comfort, safety and modesty throughout procedures. * Monitor the condition of equipment and supplies to ensure safe and efficient operations of the department. * Ensure proper recording and transmission of patient information. * Maintain data for the Radiology Information System by accurately entering patient, exam, view and supply data. * Identify images with accurate, complete, and readable information (patient ID information, Lt/Rt, time, supine/upright, etc.) * Comply with radiation safety guidelines.
