The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for X-rays as well as other duties for the clinic. As an Ambulatory Radiology Technologist, you would complete ordered x-rays within the clinic as well as being responsible for rooming patients, giving medications, and drawing labs. Radiology Technologist Job Description:
Provide expert diagnostic radiological imaging and patient care to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients, under the direction of licensed practitioners. Promote efficient operation of the clinic, and provide assistance to physicians and support staff.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in radiology required.
Demonstrate effective communication skills required.
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or ability to obtain ARRT certification, in all practice specialty areas, within one year 1 of hire or transfer date required.

Must be able to take call - nights, weekends, and holidays. Required to participate in on-call rotations and must be able to respond and report to the facility within 30 minutes when on-call.
POSITION SUMMARY : Provides expert diagnostic radiological imaging procedures to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients, physicians and customers in and outside the Radiology Department.
QUALIFICATIONS :
* ARRT Registered or registry eligible
* Graduate of an AMA approved radiologic technology program
* Nebraska License for Medical Radiographer
* Willing to cross train in CT, required.
* Certification in Ultrasound, Mammography or other modules a plus.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently under normal and emergency circumstances.
