Work one-on-one with students through academics, tutoring, study skills and college prep! The Nectar Group is a cutting-edge cognitive training and academic coaching company based in Colorado, but fully remote, that is hiring part time Academic Coaches. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students K-12 as well as adults as you apply principles of neuroscience to learning. Our clients are children and adults of all ability levels. You will work with them to deliver our curriculum to improve their cognitive and academic skills such as; memory, executive functioning and problem solving along with content areas of reading, writing, and math. We work with students who want to unlock their full potential in order to overcome learning challenges and disabilities. We provide unique, customized coaching and tutoring programs and one to one schooling through Nectar Academy. Our one-on-one programs solve the underlying root issues to learning and memory challenges. We see significant positive change and results that last a lifetime. Our coaches find taking students through this process is a very rewarding and impactful experience as they see measurable growth in their students and build relationships that truly make a difference. We are open 7 days a week: Monday- Friday, 6:15am-8pm MST, Saturdays 8am-6pm, and Sundays 12:00pm-6:30pm. Flexible shifts are available throughout the week (especially good situationally for graduate school students where availability for work can change from semester to semester). We serve clients nationally and internationally. Currently, we have a need for coaches to provide remote services via video conferencing. Candidates must be able to work at least 3-4 times per week or a minimum of 16 hours per week. The ideal candidates will have experience teaching or tutoring and will be excited to merge their expertise with our programs. Training will be provided and required to certify coaches in our methodology and approach. The kind of candidate who excels in this position are those that love beating the odds and exceeding expectations for what a student can accomplish. They are also people who care deeply, are enthusiastic and are outgoing in their communications with clients and other staff. Building rapport quickly, being able to self initiate and work independently with a high level of integrity are also important to success. **Please note that while this is a remote position, you must treat the position as if you were in an office during work hours. This means that you must be at your home office during work hours (not in a coffee shop, library, etc.) You must have daycare/childcare arrangements for any children. You must have a dedicated work space that is free from distractions and interruptions of pets, family members, housemates, etc. and that is professional in nature. Because some of our services fall under HiPAA, confidentiality must be maintained and no other family members (children or adults) may overhear business or client interactions. You must also have high speed internet.** **The training will be towards the middle of December.** **There are immediate hours once trained (16 to 30 hrs per week). Our greatest need is for daytime availability with high school level academic and ACT/SAT college prep experience. There are opportunities for advancement within the company. Candidates must be able to make a minimum 1-year commitment. The Nectar Group is hiring a Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Neuropsychologist to oversee and complete diagnoses and reports for Psychoeducational Testing for our cognitive training and tutoring center. ***Candidates must be located in a state that participates in Psypact and either have a Psypact license or be willing to obtain this licensure at hire. You will play a vital role in positively and dramatically impacting the lives of both school age students (K-12) and adults. We complete a comprehensive assessment process as part of our approach of being able to identify root causes of learning challenges, areas of strength, and clarity on the best recommendations for interventions that will resolve learning challenges. The Nectar Group works with clients to improve their cognitive and academic skills such as; memory, executive functioning and problem solving along with content areas of reading, writing, and math through cognitive training, academic coaching, and study skills coaching. We work with students who want to unlock their full potential in order to overcome learning challenges and disabilities. We provide unique, customized coaching and tutoring programs rooted in neuroscience. This is a part-time contract position. The psychologist is paid per assessment report completed. You will complete the clinical interview with the parent and/or client (depending on the age of the client being assessed). A psychometrist will administer the assessments to the client. You will review all completed testing and testing notes, render any diagnoses as appropriate, and write the psychoeducational report in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team at The Nectar Group. We take a holistic, integrative approach to treatment plans and the psychologist must be comfortable with this non-medication approach. The Nectar Group team handles all scheduling, collection of paperwork and payment, and all logistics. As the psychologist, you provide times monthly that you are available for interviews and you have 2 weeks to complete the reports from the time you receive all test documentation. You are able to set your own hours and can dictate how many reports you complete each month. We ask that you be available to do at least 2-4 reports per month but if more work is desired it is available. We also have opportunities for you to provide supervision and consultation on certain cases and you are paid hourly for these as they present.
