As the Quality Control Lead you will be responsible for maintaining day to day functions associated with quality control functions, ISO standards, health & safety, and environmental sustainability, while promoting a culture of operational excellence. You will be part of the main initiatives and quality projects, working in close collaboration with our adjacent manufacturing teams. Salary: $75K - $90k commensurate with experience. JOB SUMMARY As a Quality Control Lead you will: Maintain quality assurance objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals. Reviews data obtained during all quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures. Perform installation on plant and commercial doors, locks and keys Prepares for annual ISO 9001 certifications and audits. Ensure company quality records are current and accurate based on internal processes. Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes. Prepares and presents technical and program information to the management team Ensures all equipment, materials, and services are reliable to meet the required standards of performance efficiency. Maintains knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards. Designs and implements quality assurance training programs and education to key personnel in conjunction with managers, including internal audits. Oversees the investigative and resolution of customer complaints regarding technical or quality issues. Manages damaged and missing items procedure including creating es and interfacing with customer technical support personnel. Work in conjunction with Lab Manager to ensure lab standards and traceability and that lab capabilities meet the needs of the rental order requirements. As a Tooling Mechanic you will: Build tooling according to write ups, using a tape measure, and fill out check list Be aware and notify supervisor of faulty or damaged tooling, molds and trim dies Install tooling into Machines at a rapid pace Operate a fork lift Break down and Disassemble tooling Relocate tooling, molds and trim dies according to proper locations Check trim dies for new purchase orders and notify supervisor to order new dies Be aware and notify Supervisor of damaged or faulty machines Cleaning up work area after job completion Pin venting molds Drilling and tapping tooling Work in a team setting Qualifications Your Profile Minimum 1 year of Mechanic experience (machine or automotive) 1 year of forklift experience Must be able to read a tape measure Must be able to work in confined spaces Must have the capability to assemble and disassemble tooling Must be able to work well with others and in a team environment Must have the ability to work at a rapid pace Have the drive to learn something new The ability to follow specific instructions Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs Company Values and Ways of Working Our core values are Simplicity, Empowerment and Respect.
