Prepare finished goods to be ready to ship (palletized and in holding area)

JOB SUMMARY

Perform installation on plant and commercial doors, locks and keys

The Finishing Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various finishing machines - including the MK1060ST, SP102BMA, SP102E Bobst, SP104E Bobst, Polar115 etc. - to produce high-quality printed materials that meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.
What you'll do as a Finishing Operator:
Set up, operate, and monitor machines including foil stamper, die cutter, folder gluer, and laminator according to job specifications.
Make decisions on methods to foil jobs, load and maintain supply of cards, file samples of production material and complete production records (time sheets, job jackets, etc.)
Make machine adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
Assist with machine changeovers and routine preventative maintenance as scheduled.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues or escalate to maintenance when needed.
Maintain clean and organized work area; follow all safety and housekeeping protocols.
Perform quality checks during and after production runs to ensure product meets standards.

What you'll do as a Machinist:
Inspect card stock cutting operations for requirements and machine condition.
Inspect dies and cutting tooling to detect defects, assess wear, and verify specifications, using micrometers, steel gauge pins, loupes, and other metrology tools.
Compute desired tool geometry and profile tolerances.
Select and mount grinding wheels on machines, according to specifications, using hand tools and applying knowledge of abrasives and grinding procedures.
Dress grinding wheels, according to specifications.
Set up and operate grinding or polishing machines to grind metal workpieces such as dies, parts, and tools.
Monitor grinding and machining operations to determine whether adjustments are necessary, tools or fixtures need to be replaced or adjusted, stop machines when problems occur.
Perform Free-Layout and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing of existing parts to be able to replicate them.
Perform CNC and Traditional Manual machining operations such as lathe, mill, grinder, saws, and welding to create and repair industrial machine parts and tools.
Create fixturing and select cutting tooling to perform both one-off and volume machining and grinding operations.
Be able to read and interpret GD&T information on part prints and manufacture and inspect parts to the drawing.
Knowledgeable about all traditional fabrication methods in a machine shop.

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position in a medium to large size manufacturing organization

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing essential maintenance services, addressing immediate operational and safety concerns, and ensuring all equipment and machinery remain in optimal working condition.
