Position Overview

What You Bring

2+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of closing deals and building client relationships.
A strong understanding of the residential construction process.

Your estimates will help the team scope work, evaluate options, and set the stage for successful project delivery.
Essential Functions:
Review project plans, specifications, design-build documents and work with the sales team to understand project scope, phasing, constraints, and client expectations.

What You'll Do
Carpenters at Neil Kelly work on a project team. Projects vary greatly in complexity and scale, so the ideal candidate will have the skills to build a home from the ground up or pitch in on simple projects if that's what is needed. Our Carpenters are well-rounded and able to work on multiple projects a week. Responsibilities include:
Perform all phases of residential carpentry work-interior and exterior-with precision and craftsmanship
Support the Project Manager in delivering work to contract specifications and client expectations
Supervise and mentor carpenters as needed, providing guidance and feedback
Coordinate and inspect material deliveries for quality, accuracy, and timeliness
Ensure job site safety, cleanliness, and security at all times, protecting client property and minimizing hazards
What You Bring
You're a confident professional with excellent technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. You have the right tools to do the job, a valid driver's license and a pickup truck with canopy, or utility type van.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Proven journey-level carpentry experience, including framing, drywall repair, window and door installation, trim, cabinetry, and interior/exterior finish work
Experience with kitchen, bathroom, and general home remodeling and maintenance
Ability to plan work in advance, meet project timelines and budgets, and work independently with minimal supervision
Skilled in reading blueprints, interpreting detailed specifications, and applying construction math
Proficient with tools, construction equipment, and technology used for research, learning, and communication
Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and communication abilities
Physically capable of performing typical construction tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted

Experience leading small teams or mentoring crew
Experience in high-quality custom work
CPR/First Aid/AED certification (we'll help you get it if needed)

What you need to be successful
To qualify as a full time Aluminum Welder/Fabricator at All American Marine, candidates must possess a minimum of two years of aluminum welding experience, alongside strong fabricating and fitting skills.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
Minimum of 2 years aluminum welding/fabricating experience
Mig/Tig welds to meet visual and QA standards
Receive instructions and drawings for tasks specific to a job as assigned by weld/fab supervisor and leads.
Plan details of working procedures to accomplish task and plan out tool and material requirements.
Fabricates parts by cutting, grinding, and welding aluminum. Work using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment.
Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded. Sets up, assembles, and tacks weld parts.
Safely uses shop equipment to cut assemblies and material to size and shape.
Performs all functions in a careful and safe manner, always being observant for others in the area.
Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
Able to lift and carry 50 lb. loads up and down steps; work at heights; work in confined spaces.
Successfully pass the required AAM weld skills test
Able to work in a team-oriented environment
Ability to follow directions, work independently at times and be a self-starter
