Job Summary

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room; takes food and beverages in an efficient manner, following established steps of service.

Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients. Advises guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks when requested; accommodates reasonable requests and notes preferences. As needed, demonstrates knowledge of specialized diets and allergens.
Communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
Exhibits exceptional communications skills and demonstrates ability to get along well with others. Remains flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
Collects tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
Promotes a clean, safe and neat environment for guests.
Maintains a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared.
Promptly addresses complaints or issues; relays relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
Ensures that the dining room is properly set up prior to and after the service period; keeps area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards.
Operates a variety of equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells and coffee machines.
Works with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
Performs other duties as assigned.

We are seeking an experienced, professional Fine Dining Server to deliver exceptional service and create memorable dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate is polished, attentive, knowledgeable about menu items and wine pairings, and capable of executing a high standard of service in a fast-paced, upscale environment. This position requires full-time availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests warmly, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
Take orders accurately and communicate any dietary restrictions, allergies, or special requests to the kitchen.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food, wine, and beverage pairings.
Execute formal service standards, including multi-course meals, tableside service, and proper presentation.
Must be proficient in French and American service techniques.
Serve guests with elegance and precision, following the proper sequence for courses, beverages, and table settings.
Maintain professional demeanor, composure, and polished appearance at all times.
Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of food and beverages.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and proactively address any concerns.
Upsell menu items and promote special offerings when appropriate.
Assist with side work, table setups, and closing duties as needed.
Adhere to all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of fine dining or upscale restaurant serving experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of food and wine, including pairings, presentation, and service etiquette.
Must be proficient in formal service standards, including French and American service techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-pressure situations.
Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
Full-time availability required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
