The Systems Administrator contributes to Nekter Juice Bar's success by supporting IT platforms that are set up for each one of Nekter Juice Bar's stores and the corporate office. The Systems Administrator works with the IT team to provide clear direction and leadership to help the store management troubleshoot issues and ensure fully functioning systems. RESPONSIBILITIES
Day to day management of POS solutions including Qu Beyond, NCR Silver and OlO
Interacts with internal business partners to identify needs and translate support requirements into detail functional specifications and technical solutions
Perform hands-on configuration/development of POS related changes
Acts as IT subject matter expert on retail POS best practices; provide technical support and best practice guidance to team members
Test new software releases provided by vendors or peers prior to deployment to new stores
Occasionally work onsite in order to support and assess success of new software implementations
Monitor support tickets to ensure timely response to field and corporate users
Apply knowledge of business and technology to identify opportunities for process improvements
Participate in creating long term-POS solution roadmaps as needed
Management of sales analytics platforms, data aggregation platforms including but not limited to Zoho, Fourtop, and Google as needed
Assist various departments in finding technology solutions to pain points as needed
Assist with the management and troubleshooting of corporate store and support office IT hardware
Maintain high level relationships with vendors to ensure expedient resolutions of urgent issues
Plans and manages related processes and practices to ensure that programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives
Work with IT team to ensure consistency and maintainability of existing applications by helping create, maintain, and enforce standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.
Perform additional department related tasks as needed to support Nekter initiatives
Qualifications
Required Knowledge and Skills
Minimum of 5 years experience in POS System management and maintenance
Experience with POS hardware, peripherals, and their installation/staging
Extensive knowledge of retail POS processes, including sales and return management, menu management, promotions & pricing, loyalty, cash management, opening and closing, etc
NCR Silver, OlO, Heartland, Punchh and/or Valutec experience preferred
Knowledgeable of industry trends and best practices related to retail POS Systems
Excellent interpersonal, conflict management, and communication skills.
Able to calmly and effectively convey complicated technical information

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean equipment and work areas to Nekter Juice Bar Standards. Stock supplies on an ongoing basis. Clean and maintain customer access areas to include front area, restrooms, parking lot, and any other area to Nekter Juice Bar standards. Consistently serve all Nekter Juice Bar products to specifications. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products. Ensure cleanses and information pertaining to Nekter products are handed out in a timely manner. Ensure shift leaders or a manager handout cleanses products. Rinse and wash product before serving. Work register, prep, clean, and juice as directed by the manager on duty. Execute proper portion control with all ingredients. Must be able to operate the cash register. Handle cash transactions while adhering to Nekter cash handling policies. Knows and effectively executes Nekter Juice Bar promotions. Handles Nekter Juice Bar coupons and gift cards according to standards.
