Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Shift Hours: 3am - 3:30pm; weekend availability required Summary: This position is responsible to prepare and combine all required ingredients into the Mixer Machine and complete mixing the batch as required by the batch sheet instructions. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Receive the batch sheet form lead person. Makes sure the Mixer Machine assigned is clean and ready for use. Gather all materials and ingredients required. Compare Batch Sheet with Operator-They must match before running the product. Follow all specifications on batch sheet, when mixing the batch. As you mix check the batch and the ingredients for completeness and for abnormal conditions. Assist in general sanitation of immediate work area. Check the final condition and temperature or the batch and deliver to extruder. Must have a working knowledge of GMP / GSP / Quality Control. Complete all batches assigned. Never leave a batch unattended or incomplete. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skill and Experience: Basic math for specifications and control charts. Basic computer literacy Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 1-2 years experience working in a food manufacturing environment Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 50 lbs. Make minor adjustments to equipment with tools. Standing for extended amount of time. Squatting to make line adjustments. Actively and continuously work with leadership and plant management to identify, evaluate, and assess opportunities for improving production efficiency, sustainability, and quality from an engineering perspective Individual will lead optimization activities related to capacity, process consistency and cost reduction and provide engineering expertise in scale up and development of new products and processes Lead major investigations into equipment and/or process failures or inefficiencies; develop and implement corrective action plan and performance improvements, pulling in resources as needed. Create detailed plans for vertical start up, including standards and performance-based User Requirement Specifications (URS), factory acceptance test (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), commissioning, qualification, and verification (CQV). Advise maintenance and operations personnel on proper operation of systems and serve as a source of expertise in the area of engineering and equipment maintenance for problem analysis and troubleshooting. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Shift Hours: 3am - 3:30pm; weekend availability required Summary: The Wrapper Operator is responsible for operations of the Wrapper section of the production area. This includes the Presto robot management and the check weighers. This position must work in a team setting and be able to prioritize emergencies that occur in their section. The Operator must efficiently and securely ensure the uniformity of wrapping of bars in accordance with good manufacturing practices as well as safety rules and procedures in force and specification sheet. This position is responsible for ensuring that the wrapper is operating at proper speeds and best fit settings to produce the least possible loss, this includes optimizing recycling opportunities. The Operator must meet the objectives of productivity and time of change, including the use of good work, safety and health practices. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure the optimization of the wrapper, robots and check weighers. Ensures a good transition with the operator of the previous and following shift and informs of the critical watch points. Ensures immediate and accurate communication between “upstream and downstream” operations, team leads, supervisor, maintenance personnel. Responsible for the accuracy of the coding on the bars. Able to verify that the encoder is working properly and change data within the setting when required. Able to make simple adjustments in the HMI to control wrapper machine settings. Able to make adjustments to wrapper settings to ensure the setup is accurate and complete. Responsible for the conformity of seal integrity to meet required visual and vacuum testing specifications. Checks material unrelated to the current production is in not in the room. Ensures proper materials for job are present at wrapper. Ensures all the tools, materials and documents are prepared and completed. Ensure there are enough waste bins, white bins and animal recycling bins are at the wrappers and shelves are in the correct locations and maintained throughout the shift. Checks the wrapper film is properly threaded and the downstream packaging machinery is ready to receive the bars. Checks the code at the packing machine (web) at the requested frequency by completing the form FR-Checking codes. Completes all relevant sections/paperwork. Changes the code to the packer according to the quality control specifications (Documents available on each line). Validates with supervisor before requesting quality control clearance. Ensures there is always a roll ready to be used by the wrapper (well inserted, well placed, ready to stick on the roll paper currently used. Use small/partial rolls first (avoid accumulating incomplete rolls) Prepare the samples at the frequency requested by QC. Recycle off-spec products using white bins and return to mixing in a timely manner for reintegration. Notify supervisor of suspicious noises or other mechanical problems with the any and all equipment. Operate and unlock robots minimizing downtime Able to report any and all mechanical issues immediately to appropriate maintenance personnel Able to maintain cleanliness of the entire work area, particular attention to any mechanical functions. Able to make simple mechanical adjustments to machinery which are required to maintain optimal performance and output. We currently have an immediate opportunity for an Inventory Control Lead to join the POWDER DIVISION at our ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA location. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Schedule: 6am - 2:30pm. Mus be able to work overtime and weekends when necessary. PREAMBLE Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Inventory Control associate monitors inventory levels to ensure accuracy and proper stock rotation. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Good Warehouse Practices (GWPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES: Prepares and maintains inventory reports Troubleshoot real-time issues related to inventory discrepancies or work order issues related to inventory transactions. Serve as the main point of contact on the floor for all inventory control related activities, such as training, guidance, and coaching to ensure inventory accuracy. Collaborate regularly with other departments to maintain alignment across operations and service standards. Assist with organization and participate in ABC cycle counts and annual inventory reconciliation with support and direction from warehouse management. Ensure a safe working environment by promoting and reinforcing warehouse safety policies and best practices. Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including OSHA, FDA, and internal company policies. Performs other duties as assigned NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES: As necessary, perform other related functions of which the above are representative. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: Must be at least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Basic math skills. Effective written communication skills, including legibility. Strong attention to detail. Must be licensed to operate lift equipment (Licensing may be through internal or external training) High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred Prior manufacturing or warehousing experience preferred SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written); preferably Bilingual in English and Spanish (or at least a working knowledge of Spanish) Must be able to use a calculator proficiently to perform rapid and accurate computations Must be computer literate within an inventory control environment Must be team-oriented and willing to work collaboratively with management team; must be detailed oriented and accurate.
