We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to support a state agency's workforce initiative to expand Unemployment Insurance (UI) Account Numbers from 6 to 9 digits. This role will be critical in validating the integrity, performance, and security of modified legacy systems, ensuring that all changes meet acceptance criteria and regulatory standards. · Collaborate with developers and business analysts to design and execute test plans for COBOL, CICS, DB2, and batch components. · Perform unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across multiple environments. · Automate test cycles using tools such as 3270 emulator software and IBM InfoSphere Optim Test Data Management Solution. · Compare test results between legacy and updated systems to validate consistency and correctness. · Document test cases, results, defects, and resolutions. · Coordinate with client stakeholders to align testing efforts with project milestones and deployment schedules. · Ensure testing environments are properly configured and maintained. · Support the final go/no-go decision process through comprehensive test reporting and validation. **Pay Rate:** _This is a contract position contingent upon project needs, with a compensation range of $72-$77 per hour. Set SLAs with brokers/carriers, approve settlements/refunds/cash calls, and lead resolution of structural variances and data integrity issues. Maintain the treaty controls library (desk procedures, checklists, risk/control matrices). 4) Capital, collateral & treasury (trusts/bonds/cash) Oversee collateral trust and investment reporting (cash, bonds, valuations), ensuring alignment with treaty and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with Investments on liquidity and yield within risk constraints. 5) Actuarial, reserving & regulatory coordination Partner with Actuarial on loss picks, ELR movements, and reserve adequacy; ensure consistent, timely incorporation into financials. Oversee actuarial report/SAO submissions and the evidence trail for regulatory inquiries. Maintain a calendar for regulatory filings and related governance artifacts. 6) Controls, audit & compliance ownership Own outcomes for internal audits over reinsurance; remediate gaps; evidence control performance. The Senior Compliance Manager will play a key role in executing, developing, and maturing the Bank's compliance management system. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Performs compliance due diligence and oversight of new products, services and initiatives at the Bank. + Manages Nelnet Bank's Complaint Management Program, including trending, analysis, issue identification, reporting, and process improvement. + Develops and continually enhances due diligence tools for new products. + Manages Nelnet Bank's Compliance Training Program including LMS administration and supplementary training development and delivery. + Leads Nelnet Bank's marketing compliance reviews to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidance. + Advises diverse business units and all levels of management on complex compliance risks and requirements. + Keeps policies, procedures, and guides that are within primary scope of responsibilities up to date with the Bank's risks, activities, and the changing regulatory landscape. + Reports on CMS activities and outcomes to appropriate committees. + Progressively increases personal knowledge of internal control concepts and applies them to enhance the compliance management system. + Assists with the development and ongoing maintenance of the Bank's strategic partner compliance program. + Assists the Chief Compliance Officer with FDIC and UDFI compliance exams. + Communicates opportunities and areas of improvement for compliance and/or operational activities such as enhancements to procedures, processes, training or technology. + Engages effectively and proactively with Bank partners in deposit and lending programs. + Assists in various compliance-related duties as needed. **Pay Range for this role is - $100,000 - $130,000 **EDUCATION:** Bachelor's Degree in related field. Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification or a related certification preferred. **EXPERIENCE:** + 5 or more years in audit, compliance, fair banking, complaints, risk management, or governance related field.
