Mark Gresser serves as the president and CEO of Wildcat Discovery Technologies. Mark has more than 25 years of experience in general management, materials & product development, international sales, marketing, and engineering. Prior to joining Wildcat in 2008, Mark served as Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing and company officer at Material Sciences Corporation, a public company listed on the NYSE. In this role, Mark oversaw strategy development, global sales and marketing, and R&D for the company’s multiple businesses including metal coatings for appliance, construction, and consumer electronics; laminated NVH products for automotive body panel and powertrain components; quiet products for the OE and aftermarket brake markets; and coated electrogalvanized steel for automotive fuel systems. Prior to joining MSC, Mark was Director of Honeywell’s automotive plastics business supporting the sales and use of compounded nylon and polyester, served in various management roles at AlliedSignal, and spent several years at ExxonMobil in technical sales of polyolifins and polypropylenes. Mark began his career as a plastics and design engineer at Ford Motor Company, and is a certified six sigma black belt. Mark received a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
