POSITION SUMMARY
The Registered Behavior Technician, under the direct supervision of the BCBA, implements therapy to support individuals in service needing applied behavioral and related supports to improve their daily functioning and independence. This position utilizes ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, prompt fading and task analysis to create individualized plans for clients, families, and teams to implement. Additionally, they are responsible for documenting daily notes and reporting to the BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) on updates in behavior as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide one on one treatment to individuals in need of applied behavior analytic therapy in any and all locations deemed necessary to support the individual in services.
Implement and maintain feedback provided by the treating BCBA.
Implement goals under the supervision of a BCBA.
Provide adequate feedback regarding the progress of the client to the supervisor.
Develop professional relationships with caregivers, providing adequate feedback regarding client progress.
Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help skills, social skills, and many other targeted goals.
Keep and track accurate data collection according to the treatment plan over goal progress.
Adheres to the ethical standards of the BACB and Center for Human Services.
Observes confidentiality and HIPAA standards.

Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.

You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.

Essential Functions
Administrative Support
Provide general office support, including correspondence and deposits.

Pursue new grants and funding opportunities.
Cultivate relationships by updating, appreciating, and asking donors to deepen their partnership with The Salvation Army, including solicitation of gifts.
Execute strategy through phone, email, postal service, social media, and customized notes/correspondence.
Engage in face-to-face communication with giving prospects/donors on a limited number of accounts that qualify.
Capture new information regarding donor's interests, relationship, life events, and capacity for philanthropic giving, and enter information in the donor's database record.
Solicit donors for special campaigns or needs based on donor preferences.
Set up meetings for the Corps Officers with donors and potential donors.
Attend ongoing trainings with sharing of best practices offered by Divisional Headquarters

Minimum Qualifications:
