About the Role: As a Quality Technician at Oliver Inc., you will: Inspects incoming raw material, reviews setup and make-ready, conducts First Article inspections, in-process sampling, and final quality acceptance sampling. Performs quality tests, including, but not limited to, print characteristics, gloss, appearance, dimensions, thickness, product compatibility, scuff/scratch resistance, ink/varnish/foil adhesion, code verification, bond, opening force, closing and drop testing. Responsible for determining material/product disposition: accept, block, reject. Records quality information, enters data into system, and prepares product identification tags (load tags, quarantine tags, scrap authorization tickets, etc.) Prepares customer samples, color range books, final product samples, and defect panoplies, as required. Communicates results to appropriate departments: Manufacturing, Quality, Customer Service and/or Shipping.
