Plenty of experience if you are new to mental health…
Dangerous and gross facilities, infested with bugs, snakes, and rodents, untrained staff who did not know how to handle psych patients, management is bat-shit crazy and unreasonable, profit is all that matters, ethics are completely out the window, and staff turnover is over 300%
Not working there anymore
That I never have to see them again - unless I accidentally run across the CEOs mugshot online.
Burn it to the ground or sell it to someone who knows mental health and is familiar with Louisiana.
No prep needed. They will hire literally anyone as they cannot keep employees.
The salaries are low to average depending on the position. Direct care staff make the least. Benefits are horrible. HORRIBLE. You get 6 holidays.
Techs are mostly black. Counselors are white. Leadership is Russian.
Not being at NESS brings me immense joy. I take pride in my work and I believe my field of work is meaningful. To see this work reduced to mistreatment of employees and patients for profit is heartbreaking.

Never made it past application process. The entire thing was a sketchy scam, I had no straight answers. They just wanted me to deposit a check so I could go shopping for new equipment, when I told them I would rather wait for the check to clear, things got weird.
No straight answers, no real location of business, no phone number. The number listed goes to a dead line. Nobody to contact.
