Position Summary The Nestlé Purina Maintenance Department is building a team of technicians with a variety of skillsets including but not limited to industrial mechanical and electrical troubleshooting (motors, conveyors, bearings, gears, sprockets, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, automation systems, etc.). As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain, troubleshoot, repair and optimize production equipment. Day to day, you will work with production, engineering and maintenance personnel to conduct planned and predictive maintenance and solve problems and implement solutions quickly and safely to keep factory assets operating efficiently. This position will initially work Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Once the Williamsburg Township plant reaches operation, the shift will switch to nights (6 p.m.-6 a.m.), operating on a 2-2-3 schedule format (week one: two days on, two days off, three days on; week two: two days off, two days on, three days off). The starting pay for this position is $36.23/hr. with a strategic Maintenance Progression Plan that provides for increasing wages up to $40.37/hr., based on knowledge/skill demonstration, technical assessments and performance reviews.
