GAI Consultants is seeking a Substation and/or Protection & Controls Engineer 3 for substation-related work. This position will perform substation and protection and controls design, technical guidance/training/mentoring of staff, design reviews, QA/QC review, and enforcement related to all aspects of protection & controls design services. The Research Assistant III will play a key role in supporting the Cellular Engineering core facility at The Jackson Laboratory, which specializes in human stem cell technologies including genome editing, reprogramming, and differentiation. This position will focus on performing human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) differentiation into various cell types of interest for JAX researchers and collaborators. The successful candidate will execute established differentiation protocols, optimize methods as needed, and ensure high-quality, reproducible results. Responsibilities include maintaining stem cell cultures, monitoring cell health, documenting experimental progress, and troubleshooting technical challenges. Prior hands-on experience with human stem cell culture is required. Familiarity with quality control assays (e.g., immunostaining, flow cytometry, gene expression analysis) is highly desirable. Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining and repairing all hotel equipment from kitchen, laundry and plumbing to HVAC, electrical and guest rooms-all with minimum downtime. When things go south, you're the one to call! As a Maintenance Technician, we hope you can keep a lot of balls in the air because you're going to be juggling a million tasks both inside and outside of the hotel. You'll make sure broken things get fixed, and proactively seek solutions to problems, making sure to pay attention to detail. Think you have what it takes? Here's a snapshot of a typical day: Making repairs to electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment as needed, with minimum down time. Ensure that chemicals and hazardous materials are used and stored properly, and that all required reporting is done accurately.
