Roles and Responsibilities Install, configure, support, monitor, test, optimize, and troubleshoot problems pertaining to deployment, integration, and implementation of new hardware and software in moderate-to-complex client network environments with guidance, review, and QA from Senior Lead Consultants and Managerial staff. Be a team leader, working alongside a Network Services Supervisor, implementing simple to complex network solutions for enterprise sized clients. Disseminate information to your team (pre/post deployment) in a timely and efficient manner. Escalate to supervising Engineer Accountability: Transport and properly dispose of deployment refuse after installation. Take personal ownership and accountability to meet deadlines and maintain punctuality Cabling Infrastructure (Preferred but not required) Cable Management: Proficient in cable management techniques. Troubleshooting: Able to tone out cables, troubleshoot ports, and restore appropriate devices online. Fiber Uplinks: Experience in troubleshooting fiber uplinks and testing/validating connectivity for newly installed devices. Professional Direction: Ability to follow directions professionally and ensure devices are fully operational before leaving the site. Tools for Efficiency Installation Role: As this is an installation job, tools are required for conducting work on customer sites. Essential Tools: Team members should have at a minimum, Phillips screwdrivers, snips, etc. Optional Tools: While not required, cable testers/toners, butt-set testers, crimpers, and drills are a plus.
