Job Title: Information Systems Administrator, Journeyman Crossflow Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Information Systems Administrator, Journeyman located at Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex in Montgomery, AL, within the AFLCMC/GB Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate (BES), to support the DCAPES Logistics Feasibility Analysis Capability (LOGFAC). The LOGFAC system provides the Warfighter with an accurate assessment of the Air Force War Reserve Material (AF WRM) stockpile, aircraft consumable/non-consumable requirements based on Wartime Aircraft Activity, the Air Force Wartime Consumable Distribution Objective, and shortfalls/overages. It is a mathematically intense application enriched with complex algorithms that produce feasibility assessments for executing plans. The system produces associated cost estimates for wartime requirements. LOGFAC supports planning, execution and monitoring of forces, equipment and supplies during peacetime, contingency situations, periods of national crisis, and both limited and global war. As an Information Systems Administrator your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: * Provide support and assistance in the management and operations of program related network systems. * Providing system administration of Network, Web, and/or communication systems including Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems involving network security; * Preparing technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions; * Performing the daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, client/server, or cloud based; * Optimizing system operation and resource utilization; * Performing system capacity analysis and planning; and, * Experience using any, or all, of the following tools: Checkmarx, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Bitbucket * Update, monitor, and manage information in systems for the program office * Serve as the first point of contact for resolving or escalating issues relating to hardware, software, network, and other issues of computer end users * Strong experience with CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Deployment) methodologies with Jenkins. * Troubleshoot user identified deficiencies; validate developer delivered deficiency corrections * Provide hands-on support of the operationally fielded LOGFAC instances supporting test, and production residing in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud in IL4 and IL6 * Collaborate with development team to implement infrastructure requirements and resolve issues * Configured security group for EC2 Window and Linux instances * Monitor system performance and optimize system operations and resource utilization * Deploy terraform images to IL6 using Jenkins CI/CD pipeline * Experience working with Linux OS (Red Hat), file locations, maneuvering through Linux based directory file structures * Upgrade servers with the latest releases of software packages/patches and RPM packages on Linux servers * Perform database-specific monitoring of processes, file changes, and distributed database links * Manage AWS EC2 instances as required * Process LOGFAC weekly and annual Interface files using Linux, AWS S3 and SQL Developer in IL6 * Perform application monitoring and rotate SSL certificates as required * Create, unlock and remove user accounts as required * Provide support for preparation of technical implementation plans for emerging LOGFAC releases * Serve as the first point of contact for resolving or escalating issues relating to hardware, software, network and other issues end user's experience * Aid users in accessing and using the LOGFAC application * Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience with EC2, ECS, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, CLI, Load Balancer, Bastion Host and IAM. Job Description Fiber Technician Introduction C2 Technology Group located is seeking Experienced Network Technicians. This is a full-time position. The ability to work overtime is necessary when required. Typically, short duration travel is required throughout Alabama and neighboring states, with paid lodging and per-diem. DLS Engineering is seeking a Network Administrator III (WAN (N-JRSS)) professional for a full-time position in support of the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) program at Gunter Annex in Montgomery, Alabama. This is an on-site position. As part of AFINC, the mission of the 26th Network Operations Squadron (26 NOS) is to provide mission assurance to the warfighter through the operation, management, and defense of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN). In the execution of its mission, the 26 NOS maintains network infrastructure, to include routers, switches, proxies, firewalls, servers, workstations, printers, Storage Area Networks (SAN) and test labs, to provide maneuverability and defense of both classified and unclassified networks. A day in the life: Analyze and simulate network traffic to aid in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments. Monitor system utilization and circuit bandwidth then report anomalies to Government team leads. Develop, execute, modify or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks, as possible. Review and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate re-work or for auditing/investigation purposes. When I read the below it sounds like me: 7+ years' experience with: installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches. Deep level of understanding/experience with enterprise level network architectures/configurations is required and Software Defined Networking (SDN) is desired.
