We are seeking a Linux System Administrator to join our team in Herndon, VA. In this role, you'll support mission partners directly, making a tangible impact on critical objectives. You'll collaborate with AI/ML researchers, software engineers, and cybersecurity teams to leverage open-source tools in building and maintaining a private cloud and AI/ML infrastructure. Responsibilities:
Monitor and respond to hardware and software outages across the platform.
Maintain infrastructure supporting Data Science and Analysis R&D activities.
Assist platform tenants and users with troubleshooting and requests.

Minimum Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI and ability to obtain a CI polygraph.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field (or 4 additional years of experience); requires at least 2 years of Linux system administration experience.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Docker/Podman, Packer, GitLab, and GitLab Runners.
Skilled in Tier 1 and Tier 2 support with proven ability to troubleshoot complex environments.
Capable of supporting a broad range of tasks, including software upgrades, patching, system monitoring, and R&D.
Willing to work full-time on-site in Herndon, VA, with a demonstrated ability to operate as a self-starter.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of Linux system administration with hands-on experience in automation (Ansible, Bash, Terraform) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
