    GovCIO is currently hiring for a Windows Administrator, tocreate and maintain team technical instructions, operating procedures and policies as needed.This position will be located in Radford, VA and will be a remote position. **Responsibilities** This position is for a Senior Systems Administrator supporting the Windows team. This is currently a mixed and growing environment of Windows 2019 and Windows 2022. This position will work with the existing Windows team to manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support servers for a mixed customer environment. This position will plan, execute, and implement new system HW and SW and create and maintain team technical instructions, operating procedures and policies as needed. This position will need to be adept at monitoring and tuning system performance, ongoing operation of the servers, hardening of the servers and reporting of the overall security and operational status. The position will also recommend improvements to the enterprise and manage new SW/HW integrations when required while also providing utilization reports using existing tools to identify problems and corrective actions as needed. The position will need excellent communication and team skills. This position will provide support towards the lifecycle of a mixed environment of vendor equipment in the datacenter to include firmware version control and periodic preventive maintenance. Ordering and managing car stock inventory. Troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues and basic understanding of application issues. Scheduling of installation, PMs, repairs, and other field events. Perform phone support and triage technical support issues on an occasional basis (about once every 2 months) Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining service records and providing service reports in a timely manner. Maintaining daily communications/ scheduling with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up. Utilizing the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues. Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated. Identifying and working with Sales for opportunities such as new service contracts, contract renewals and sales system. Working as a member of a larger team but independently managing territory to provide efficient service to all accounts within assigned area. The ability to lift and carry a toolbox that can weigh up to 50 lbs. Adhering to current regulatory requirements to include, but not limited to, HIPPA, OSHA and FDA. What we are looking for in you Experience in the medical device industry preferred. Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process. Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment. Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns. Proven record of being reliable and accountable for all aspects of their job. Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce, and Teams.
