The primary focus is to provide support for account operations, ensuring the effective, economical, and safe utilization of chemicals and equipment. This entails collaborating closely with the local site manager and the area sales manager to develop and execute chemical programs.

JOB SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to assist in directing the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern nursing facilities and as directed by the Administrator to assure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. This position will oversee the specialty services programs, the Mental Health Support Unit, Memory Support Unit, and Transitional Support Unit.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversee compliance with regulatory guidance and work with department supervisors and Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee to identify areas of deficient practice(s) and establish a performance improvement plan.
Manage the day-to-day operations and act on behalf of the Administrator in his/her absence.
Assist the Administrator in recruiting, interviewing, screening and onboarding new staff in key positions.
Assist the Director of Human Resources and department directors to develop written job descriptions for each staff position.
Assist the Infection Preventionist and/or committee in identifying, evaluating and classifying routine and job-related functions to ensure that tasks involving potential exposure to blood/body fluids are properly identified and recorded.
Coordinate with the Administrator and the Director of Human Resources regarding issues involving labor laws, progressive discipline and collective bargaining with labor unions.
Contribute to the development of facility policies, procedures, strategic planning and plans of correction.
Collaborate with nursing leadership to reduce or mitigate avoidable re-hospitalizations and other key performance indicators.
Participate in pre-admission screening for prospective admissions.
Assist with conducting criminal background checks, reference checks, abuse registry checks and the Medicare exclusion list as needed.
Interpret the facility's policies and procedures to employees, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, etc., as necessary or instructed.
Monitor Minimum Data Set (MDS) data transmissions to ensure that resident assessment data is transferred accurately and in a timely manner.
Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies.
Review the facility's policies and procedures with department directors and make recommendations to the Administrator to assure continued compliance with current regulations.
Participate in the annual facility-wide assessment to determine what resources are necessary to care for the residents competently during both day-to-day and emergency operations.
Serve on various committees of the facility (i.e., infection prevention and control, QAPI, safety, etc., as appointed by the Administrator) and provide reports of such committee meetings to the Administrator as necessary.
Ensure the facility has sufficient nursing staff with the appropriate competency in skills to provide nursing and related services to assure resident safety and attain or maintain the highest practical physical, mental and psychosocial well-being of each resident.
Assist in scheduling department work hours, personnel, work assignments, etc., as necessary or required.
Investigate complaints, grievances and other violations of residents' rights and provide an oral and written account to the Administrator with recommendations and findings.
Consult with department directors concerning the operation of their departments to assist in eliminating/correcting problem areas and/or improving services; report such findings/solutions to the Administrator.
Work with the facility's consultants as necessary and implement recommended changes as approved by the Administrator.
Ensure that all licensure requirements are met for each employee; ensure the employees attend regular in-service training.
Assist department directors in planning, conducting and scheduling in-service training classes, on-the-job training and orientation programs to assure that current material and programs are provided.
Attend and participate in workshops, seminars, etc., to keep abreast of information affecting nursing facilities.
Provide orientation and on-the-job training for subordinates.
Coordinate with the Director of Environmental Services to ensure a safe working environment, mitigate resident risk and comply with all local, state and federal requirements.
Ensure the resident environment remains free of accident hazards as much as possible and ensure that each resident receives adequate supervision and assistive devices to prevent accidents.
Assist the Director of Environmental Services in developing and implementing waste disposal policies and procedures.
Ensure that all facility personnel, residents, visitors, etc., follow established safety procedures.
Ensure that all hazardous chemicals are appropriately labeled and that safety data sheets (SDSs) are easily accessible by all personnel.
Ensure that personnel follow established facility policies governing the use/disposal of personal protective equipment (PPE) and disposal of infectious wastes.
Ensure that the building and grounds are maintained in good repair and free of hazards.
Review and monitor accident/incident reports (e.g., falls, injuries of an unknown source, abuse, etc.); report effectiveness of the facility's risk management program to the Administrator.
Ensure that adequate supplies and equipment are on hand to meet the day-to-day operational needs of the facility and residents.
Ensure that equipment/supplies are ordered/delivered in accordance with established purchasing policies.
Assist in preparing an annual operating budget for approval by the Administrator and allocate the resources to carry out programs and activities of the facility and in accordance with the annual facility assessment.

The Plant Support Engineer provides technical expertise and operational support across a broad range of plant systems and components. This includes valves (motor-operated and air-operated), rotating equipment (pumps and turbines), HVAC systems, chillers, compressors, piping systems, and thermal-hydraulic applications.
The role is critical to maintaining equipment reliability, supporting emergent issues, and ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
Support resolution of emergent, short-cycle, and near-term engineering work to protect the work week schedule.
Serve as engineering point of contact for execution of the online work week schedule and resolution of Engineering Holds.
Provide engineering input and follow-up for Operability evaluations.
Deliver engineering support for post-work testing and validation.
Conduct complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis (e.g., FMEA, confirm/refute).
Perform equipment condition assessments and support minor design modifications.
Provide technical input for testing procedures and analysis.
Support resolution of operating challenges.
Assist with planning and provide support for emergent questions and in-field activities.
Prepare and implement Minor Design Modifications.
Lead interpretation and analysis of complex technical issues.
Coordinate assigned projects, studies, and initiatives through completion.
Comply with safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Prepare and present technical reports with recommendations for issue resolution.
Participate in and occasionally lead special projects and committees.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:
B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering (prefered), Mechanical Engineering (preferred), Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other closely related scientific discipline/physical science associated with power plant operations; or equivalent work experience (defined as demonstrated success at the engineer/technical specialist level).
Physical ability and willingness to support plant walkdowns and inspections.
Proficiency in PC use, engineering-specific applications, and engineering drawing interpretation.
Minimum of 2 years of related job experience preferred.
Prior experience in the nuclear industry is favorable.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across organizational boundaries.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex technical issues.
Ability to influence and build effective working relationships across departments.
In-depth understanding of power plant equipment and system interrelationships.
Capability to evaluate technical alternatives considering economic impact.
