GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under limited supervision, the Assistant Network and System Administrator (ANSA) is a support resource for end-user computers, peripherals, network components and telephony devices throughout the library system. The ANSA provides in-depth and advanced technical support services to Kitsap Regional Library staff and patrons. In addition, the ANSA works on a variety of assignments associated with the management and maintenance of the library's technology environment, as well as providing support to the rest of the IT Team. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree in computer technology or equivalent combination of education and experience in an enterprise environment. Experience must include installation and support of various operating systems and software packages, and diagnostics and troubleshooting of both hardware and software issues.
This position occasionally visits locations throughout the county and may need to drive on library business. A valid Washington State Driver's License, a safe driving record, and three years driving experience are required to drive a library-owned vehicle for library business.
