JOB SUMMARY: The IT Systems and Applications Administrator is responsible for the administration, optimization, and support of the company's IT infrastructure and enterprise applications. This includes systems such as virtual desktop environments, business-critical applications, cloud services, and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), Microsoft Intune, Power BI, along with a proactive approach to systems monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure & Systems Management Maintain, configure, and monitor servers, storage, networking, and VDI environments. Administer Microsoft Intune for device management, compliance, and endpoint security. Perform patching, backups, and system updates on a regular schedule. Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning for core systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Intune for device and endpoint management, along with familiarity in managing Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualized environments. Practical experience with Power BI, including data refresh management, gateways, and report publishing, plus basic SQL querying skills. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is preferred. Demonstrated strengths in troubleshooting, analytical thinking, communication, and independently managing multiple priorities while meeting uptime, SLA, security, and compliance requirements.
