RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Resolves problems regarding Windows, Windows Server and Linux operating systems, application software, and hardware operation.
• Implements prescribed server disaster recovery schemes, system capacity planning, endpoint security systems, data loss prevention plans, and user/system data management.
• Enters commands, conducts server diagnostics, and observes system performance to verify accurate operations and identify errors.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• US Citizenship is required. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
• An undergraduate degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity from an accredited institution and at least 2 years of directly related experience; or a high associate's degree and 4 years of directly related experience.
• Demonstrated technical experience with Windows Server computer hardware, operating systems and application software, including Windows Server 2016 and 2019, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and server networking parameters.
• Ability to install, repair, research, and troubleshoot server/computer hardware, software, peripheral devices, disk arrays, and tape libraries.
• Experience performing systems and network management.
• Service-oriented; ability to effectively communicate and interface with users, peers, and vendors (written and oral).

The Space & Airborne Center within Systems Integration & Test seeks talented Systems Engineers. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts. As a Systems Engineer in the life cycle center within the Space & Airborne Center, you will interface with the customers to develop CONOPS, system architecture, system requirements and manage qualification, verification and validation. Our center focuses on back end sustainment and repair design and sustainment development as well as transitioning systems through integration and test from production to warranty/sustainment. You will also perform functional / physical analysis, allocation, and trade studies.
You will support Radar Mode requirement development, engineering testing, integration and flight-testing, production, system deployment, and post deployment support across the product lifecycle. Through Digital Transformation (DTx) you will perform these functions using a variety of methods and enabling technologies, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Agile product development.
This position is an onsite role in Warner Robins, GA. Test event support activity may require travel which is not expected to exceed 20%.
What You Will Do:
Support planning and execution of Integration, Verification, or Troubleshoot Test activities in our labs, in the field, or at a Depot facility

What You Will Learn:

Qualifications You Must Have:
Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree.
This position requires 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships)
Experience with tools, such as Microsoft Office, MATLAB or Python, for data analysis and automation
