Compliance Focused 6 to 12 month contract Overview: Responsible for configuring, maintaining, and monitoring network and converged voice systems to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant operations supporting enterprise and EMS environments. Key Responsibilities • Install, configure, and support network/voice hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, gateways, VPNs). • Monitor network performance (latency, bandwidth, device health) using tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, and Wireshark. • Troubleshoot user, device, and EMS connectivity issues; perform root-cause analysis and escalate when necessary. • Maintain accurate documentation: configurations, topology diagrams, inventories, IP schemas, and change records. • Support network design, upgrades, HA architectures, and secure configuration standards. • Assist with firewall rule management, access control, port-security, and VPN configurations. • Perform CIP activities for all network devices patching cycles, baseline configuration reviews, and CIP-compliant change management. • Provide documentation and support for SERC/NERC audits and compliance reviews. • Participate in redundancy testing, disaster recovery planning, and MIRT incident response. • Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, operations, and application teams on projects and incident resolution. • Continuously update technical knowledge through internal training.
